Chapter 573: Unconscious and Unawakened

Charlotte Cooper returned to the ward, sat by the bed, and looked at the unconscious Henry Russell. Her eyes dimmed, and her slender fingers held Henry Russell's hand.

"When will you wake up?" Charlotte's voice was a little choked. She wiped away a tear in secret, showing how upset she was.

"Henry, can you please wake up soon?" Charlotte looked at the man lying in the bed, full of sorrow.

She sighed and then quietly accompanied Henry. The sun shone on Charlotte, casting a golden hue as if consoling her.

After about ten minutes, it was time for the ward rounds. The room's door was knocked on, and Charlotte slowly stood up, forcing a smile.

"Miss Cooper, you can't just stay here forever." Henry's attending doctor said helplessly. It was indeed miserable; such young and promising doctors were rare these days.

"I'm fine." Charlotte's voice was a little hoarse. The doctor sighed and then began to check Henry's body. Thankfully, all the indicators were normal.
