Chapter 214: Injured

"I just wanted to help you," Lucas Carter said with a smile as he looked at him.

Tarik Soufiane laughed, "Do you think I would believe that?"

Lucas retorted, "I have a grudge against Henry Russell, and I want to do anything that can make him unhappy. Is that reason enough?"

Seeing that Tarik was about to leave, Lucas quickly handed him a business card, "You can come to me for help at any time but remember one thing: I only dislike Henry Russell, Charlotte Cooper is untouchable."

Tarik sneered and casually put the business card in his pocket after briefly looking at it.

Watching his retreating figure, Lucas' eyes revealed a hidden meaning. Tarik Soufiane seemed to be very good to Charlotte Cooper, and he also respected his brother-in-law, Henry Russell. Why would he do such a thing later on?

On the way back, he received another call from Linda Davis. Lucas had an impatient look in his eyes but still answered the phone.
