"Ah, shit… It seems that it is already too late for that. I wonder, is Fumiko ready for her first battle?" Yuki said to herself as she entered back their house again to look for and when she finally found her, she saw her taking care of Yaoyao very carefully. She was nestled in her arms with a calm face on her face, unlike before when she was shivering all over, she was calm and sleeping peacefully.
"Hey, thanks for taking care of her. But can you help me with something?" Yuki asked as she sat down beside Fumiko.
"What do you need help with?" Fumiko just asked with a smile as no matter what kind of request Yuki was going to ask her, she would try her best to help her with it.
"Well… I finally found the reason why Yaoyao was injured while trying to find me, it seems like she has attracted a lot of people because of her bloodline of being a Phoenix. Naturally, people wanted to catch her, but she escaped naturally, the people who attacked her somehow managed to place a tracker on her, and as I'm saying all of this, those people are gonna arrive within just a few minutes. So… are you willing to help me to take them all out?" Yuki said without changing a face as if what she just said didn't concern her that much, because, in reality, it didn't.
The only reason why she wants Fumiko to join is to expose her to the battlefield, being exposed much earlier would be better, she was there in case something bad were to happen. She can just annihilate everyone there without thinking about it too much.
Yuki already knows that trying to resolve everything with just talk would be impossible since there was no way that they would believe if she were to say that no Phoenix has entered their house as they have a tracker. There was no way out of this, a fight must happen to bring a silence upon it. Having Fumiko fight in this would serve as a great experience as the people that she is going to fight are above average in terms of strengths and at her current peak strength of Fumiko, she would be able to fight them head-on without too much worry, but that is if you don't count battle prowess.
Because in that field, she is still lacking by a lot, and that is the main reason why Yuki wants for her to join this battle, to gain as much battle experience as possible.
"You want me to join you? But will that be alright?" Fumiko asked with a worried tone as she was not sure if her presence would be good there since this situation is very serious and if she were to fail, everything would fall into the hands of Yuki, and she would have to clean the mess.
"Of course, there is nothing bad about gaining experience. If you can't handle them, you can just always run away back to our house since it is safe there. But if you are coming, I want you to fight to the very end, of course, I am not saying that you should die to win, I'm just saying that you can at least risk it to win, remember… those two are completely different." Yuki said with a light smile on her face, but before Fumiko could say anything, Yuki had already said a few more words.
"If you think that you can't handle them, then just run away like I said, I'll be more than enough to handle them all by myself so you don't need to worry about that. There is no shame in running away unless you are someone whose pride is more important than your life, then don't run." Yuki chuckled as there was no way that Fumiko would do such a thing.
There was simply no way, she knows that she is a smart girl and she will know what she is trying to say to her by saying all of that. What she only wants for her is a great result, but her words also mean that she has to fight every single one of them as it seems that Yuki has no interest in helping her. When Fumiko came to this conclusion, she raised her voice accidentally.
"WHAT! Are you saying that you want me to fight all of them? And judging from your words, there seem to be a lot of people! If it was only just one person or maybe even three, maybe I'd accept it. But more than that is too much for me and you know that too." Fumiko retaliated, but after shouting and realizing that Yaoyao was still sleeping, she quickly toned down her voice.
"Of course not, that is too much for you, that is why I want you to fight them one by one. There are about 13 people I think, so what I will do is chain all the rest while you fight one of them. And if you beat that one, then I'll release another one, and just repeat until you defeat all of them. Oh, yeah, you don't have to kill them. I repeat… I'm not forcing you to kill them, just make them a cripple of something, that would be fine." Yuki explained to her what her plan was.
Whe Fumiko heard the last part of Yuki's explanation, she suddenly felt a chill run down her spine at the thought that she was going to be forced to kill someone with her own hands, just the thought of that scared her because that is something she couldn't do yet.
So when she heard that she only needed to make her enemies unable to move she sighed in relief which Yuki saw, and she only smiled at this. She already knows that such a thing is too early for her, even for Yumie who has lived in the Immortal Realm and already saw a lot of deaths and wasn't able to kill a life for so long. The only thing that helped her was the practice that was given to her by Yuki.
'You still have the morality of a normal human being which killing is naturally a sin, but over time that moral will change. You will know that killing someone in this kind of World is just completely normal. Kill or be killed, that is how it runs.' Yuki thought to her as she placed her hand on top of Fumiko's head, and just as she was about to open her mouth again, she felt that those people were now outside of her barrier.
"They're here now, so am I gonna get a yes from you?" Yuki asked as there was no more time left for her to chat because if Fumiko refused her, there would still be some more time in the future.
"Yes, but I have one condition though. Please guide me in this fight, I have only read and put all of them in practical training and this is a real fight where everything is real. So I hope you can help me, at least by pointing out some things, but don't help me physically. Is that alright?" Fumiko asked after thinking for a while.
"Of course, that is not a problem at all~"
