Everything hit the fan.

I wasn't prepared for this, nor was anyone else. One second, Kiren and I were arguing, and Brandon demanded he leave; the next, we called Yaya, Yetunde, and Robert to come to the hospital. Unfortunately, things didn't get better while we waited. The other two men outside with Pearl turned out to be her other two sons, and the second they came inside with their mother, they saw Zoe, and both declared the word mate. That only added more pressure to the growing tension. We were a second from everything boiling over.

None of this was good for me.
