Chapter 23

"Yes, Mas, there was no meeting, so I came home early!" Sofia replied, distancing herself from Alisa who she let alone sit on the bed.

 "Mama ...!" Alisa chattered following Sofia's movement away from the bed. A wide smile tugged at Alisa's lips.

 "Sofia!" call Nico. Suddenly the atmosphere became quiet. Nico actually knew that Sofia had left Alisa sitting alone on the edge of the bed.

 "Alice, Sofia!" Nico spun around, groping over the bed. Meanwhile, Sofia just stood still in the corner of the room next to the big wardrobe in the room, watching Nico and Alisa from a distance.

 "Damn it, looks like Sofia wants to prank me!" Nico thought furiously. Alisa crawled further and further away from Nico. If Nico had helped Alisa, Sofia would have known that Nico really could see.

 "Alice, come here honey!" call Nico. His heart was beating fast, he saw Alisa who was almost approaching the edge of the bed. The toddler crawled very fast.
