Panzram turned away from Ryu and stomped towards the door, still ignoring the screaming woman on the floor. He felt a sudden burst of anger erupt inside him and threw a punch into the wall. Ryu flinched as he watched Panzram calmly pull his hand out of the wall leaving behind a crater. 

Ryu rushed to Panzram's side and pulled at his fist, "Are you hurt?"

Panzram turned his violent eyes to him and wrapped his hand around Ryu's neck. He pushed him against the wall and leaned close to his face. Their noses nearly touched as he whispered ruthlessly, "Don't."

Ryu felt something scratching at his heart and reached up to hold Panzram's hand. Panzram's grip was tight, but it wasn't nearly as strong as it had been in the past. It was clear that he was holding back. In this situation, Ryu didn't feel fear.

Instead, he felt something… Else.
