Everyone was at the lunch table. Erik and Pius had decided to leave as soon as the meeting was over, so they didn't take part in the lunch.
The meal had already been finished by everyone there, however, since Franz still hadn't allowed anyone to leave, they were still sitting on their seats.
Soon, Franz sighed softly. "Very well, before ending this meal, I would like to say a few words," he started. "The war is about to start. Our soldiers are meant to be departing tomorrow, early in the morning, so I thought I should do this as soon as possible," the king said.
Everyone kept silence, waiting for Franz to continue his speech.
