Rank 2(Part3 Aperture Modification)

The Sun moved to the side because the moon was on its way to the aperture. After moving slightly to the side, it began to travel toward the aperture. Even though its radiation and rays fell onto the aperture walls, the aperture did not shine or light up, inside it was still night.

And new aperture walls were also growing upwards and were slowly combining with the old walls from below. They were not being combined themselves. It was Yang Zhai who was combining them together. Whenever Yang Zhai wanted to, he could separate these walls from each other or could even break them. This was the case for the sun and the moon as well. He only needed a single thought to destroy everything in his void. 

Even though it could not be felt, the moonlight was slowly decreasing. It was a symbol that Yang Zhai's essence water was being used by the moon.

The Yellow Sun had already crossed the aperture barrier and had appeared inside it. The new walls had also completely appeared and were fully combining. The moonlight was still shining on the aperture, but its light was less than before. Yang Zhai had hundred percent essence water; therefore, he didn't have any worries about the essence water being ending. He would not have to worry, even with fifty-nine percent essence water at rank 1.

After a while, the walls also fully combined. When this happened, the new aperture was fully completed, and it shook violently. Waves after wave were being released from the aperture. Yang Zhai ordered the moon to get away from the aperture, and then he emptied the moon of his essence water. When this happened, a huge blast happened from the core of the moon, and it was destroyed into many big and small pieces. Of course, when a blast of a planet happens, a massive destruction is caused and this was the case for the moon as well. 

Many waves were released with the destruction of the moon and with every wave, many rocks of different sizes were also carried. The rocks flew far and disappeared after flying for a while.

On the other hand, the aperture slowly started to fade and disappeared from the void. The void was left empty again and nothing could be seen inside it.

After a while, both of the black vortexes disappeared. Inside the room —where Yang Zhai was sitting— was completely silent and quiet. It seemed like nothing happened at all from the outside. However, Yang Zhai felt a shiver running through his entire body, a wave was traveling through his entire body and after a few seconds, the wave, and the shiver disappeared. But, he was calm, this was because the shiver that ran through his entire body was not because of cold, or any emotions, this shiver was because of his physical body becoming stronger. 

Yang Zhai moved the fingers of his right hand and felt that he had gotten stronger than before. He was already very close to a rank 2 cultivator in physical strength because of the Strength Ka. However, after reaching rank 2, he was already stronger than rank 2 cultivators in terms of physical strength, except for the body cultivators. Of course, the body cultivators use different kinds of methods to make their bodies stronger, just like how Yang Zhai used the Strength Ka. 

At rank 2, a person's physical strength and toughness increase, allowing the cultivator to cultivate more. Not just the strength, but the toughness of the skin, bones, and muscles increases as well. 

The Strength Ka only allowed Yang Zhai's strength to increase, but his skin, bones, and muscles were the same as a mortal, they could be hurt or wounded just like a normal mortal. However, after reaching rank 2, his bones, muscles, and skin also became stronger. After checking and confirming that he had become stronger, he closed his eyes and looked inside his aperture.

Inside the aperture had already become bright, and the night had gone. No darkness or moonlight could be seen inside. Yang Zhai looked at his Essence Water and was surprised.

Impressive, my Essence water limit increased to sixty-two percent instead of fifty-nine. It happened when I became a cultivator, my essence water limit had increased to fifty-nine percent after awakening my aperture:Yang Zhai thought. 

In his previous life, his aperture's limit to hold the essence water was 51 percent; Yet, his essence water limit increased to fifty-nine after awakening his aperture in this life. And after thinking it through, he discovered that it was done by the Aurora that he had refined with his death and the sword from his previous life. And now, this happened again, his essence water limit increased to 62 percent instead of allowing it to fifty-nine percent.

After a cultivator reaches the Perfect or Over stage, their Essence Water limit increases to 100 percent; however, after a person advances to the next rank, the limit of the essence water becomes normal again that was before reaching the Perfect Stage. Meaning, Yang Zhai's essence water limit should have fallen to fifty-nine percent again, instead of sixty-two percent.

"This can only mean one thing, and that is that when my aperture is modified or changed, the Aurora will help it improve. If that is the case, then it is either doing this because it is linked to my soul or it may have its own will. But, I don't think it possesses any will because I am aware of myself, I won't ever do something that can harm me or can prove to be dangerous. I will never leave an independent will in my own aperture. If I ever do that, then I would make sure that the will is under my control. And I can fully control this Aurora as well, even though I don't understand it fully. Or maybe, it doesn't possess any will, but is doing everything instinctively or is featured to do so. Whatever, forget it." Yang Zhai did not bother over it anymore and looked at his aperture again. Everything will be revealed with time, he was not worried about it.

Yang Zhai saw that in the Essence water, besides the five dark red lines, another orange line had appeared. Orange lines only appear in rank 2 and when a person advances to rank 3, yellow lines appear. In order, it was red, orange, yellow, and so on. Every Rank possesses a total of four lines if the Perfect stage was excluded. 

Every color could hold different kinds of talents and abilities. Now that Yang Zhai had already reached rank 2, his four red lines could not hold any ability anymore. Now that he had reached rank 2 and his foundation had not solidified in rank 2 yet, he could store an ability or talent in the orange line. If he reaches Rank 2 mid-stage and still does not store any kind of ability in the orange line, he would not be able to store any kind of ability or talent later on in the orange lines as well. It was because his foundation would solidify and could not be modified without any method. 

And right now, Yang Zhai only knew of the Moon Bulls that could be used. And about the other beasts he knew were not useful to him for many reasons. And the ones that could be used were powerful. Therefore, he would have to take the risk of going after the Moon Bulls again. However, this time, he was stronger. 

When Yang Zhai was at Rank 1, he was not strong enough to explore the forest to look for the other beasts that could be used. Therefore, he chose Moon Bulls that could be hunted by even the mortals and had a useful ability, and he failed. After that, he was cautious and did not go after the Moon Bulls again, especially after his almost blind state. And he did not have time and could not wait for an opportunity to fall into his hands by itself, if he had done that, then it would have been foolishness, and it was proven in the competition. If he had not gotten stronger and had waited, he might have lost in the final round. Therefore, he advanced to the Rank 1 third stage. He was not a petty person. If there was no other way to obtain something, he would simply not go after it and leave it. Thus, he advanced to rank 1 third stage and lost an opportunity. His red lines had become useless to him now. When he had advanced to the rank one mid-stage, the red lines had just appeared and could have been modified. But after reaching rank 1 third stage, his foundation had solidified and the red lines had become stronger.

And if he had tried to modify the third red line of the rank 1 third stage, then an imbalance would have been created, which would harm him more than benefit him, because the previous two red lines could not be modified after solidifying. All the lines had to be modified. If even a single line was left out of the four or five lines, then disparity and instability would appear, which would be harmful.

Now, Yang Zhai was going to modify the orange lines.
