Weak Little Vampire pt. 1

We were quiet as we walked down to the kitchen. Cam was leading because I still didn't know my way around, and I was a few steps behind. He didn't seem to mind though. I think he wants a moment to collect himself. I'll never let on, but I'm not blind. I know what a hard-on looks like when I see it. I may not be the most attractive woman, but I'm not a celibate. I've been with my fair share of men. And just a few girls. College was fun to say the least. But that's not the point!

While I'm trying to get my dirty mind on track, Cam starts talking, but I don't quite hear him. I'm actually getting a little dizzy. He stops in front of me and I nearly run into him. "What's up?" I ask, looking at him in a daze.

He studies my face. "Are you ok, Terra? You seem out of it."

Waiving it off, I say "I'm fine, just need to eat. My meds can make me drowsy."

Looking unconvinced, he grabs my hand and finishes leading the way to the kitchen. "Lean on me, if you need to." Wow, his hand is so big and warm. It feels nice.

We get to the kitchen and he sits me down at the island. "Just relax, I'll cook."

"Sounds good." Barely able to keep my head up, I lay my head on my arms on top of the counter. Maybe I should have gotten some sleep last night. I don't want Cam to think I'm weak. I'm really not, I don't like being babied. The only reason I let Cam take care of me is because he's cute, and it makes me feel special.

Something cold touches my forehead. Jerking up, I look to see Cam holding an icepack. "Its ok, just me. I thought this might help."

Cheeks flush with embarrassment, I carefully take the icepack out of his hand and place it on my forehead. With a sigh of relief, I say "Thank you, this is much better."

He still looks worried, but he goes back to cooking. It smells good, but I can't help myself from thinking he smells better. When did I become such a wuss? I've never been this enamored with a guy. Oh well. I'm not in a mood to think about it. My head is killing me, and now my back and hips are starting to ache. I thought vampires didn't get sick. Is it because I'm special? Or does it have to do with what Cam said earlier. I'm starting to feel sick.

"Cam..." I mean to say it properly, but it comes out as more of a whimper.

In a second, he's by my side, leaning down so I don't have to look up at him. "Tell me what's wrong, little one."

Theres that phrase again. What Marve used to call me that, I thought it was sweet, but when Cam's sweet lips say it, it makes me feel 2 inches tall. "I don't know. I feel dizzy and sick, and my back hurts. Do you think I need more blood?"

He looks uncertain. "We can try to see if that helps. If not, I'll get someone over who can help. Sound good?" I nod to the best of my ability.

Cam walks over to the fridge and grabs what looks like a bottle of cranberry juice, except its too thick. After a minute, I realize it must be human blood. He finishes it quickly, then comes back over to me.

"Since you're dizzy, I'm going to pick you up and walk you over to the couch. Is that okay with you?" I nod again. He slowly turns the stool around. Leaning down, he opens his arms for me. I wrap my arms around his neck and he hooks his hands under my thighs. As he walks toward a room I haven't been in yet, I wrap my legs around him and tighten my arms. Mm he smells so good. Like fresh cut grass and wildflowers. Its unique, and I like it. I burry my face in his neck, wanting to be engulfed my his scent.

I must really be sick. Cam doesn't seem to notice. He quickly gets me to a plush looking couch and tries to set me down, but I don't want to. Shaking my head, I latch on tighter.

"Terra..." He starts. After pausing to think about it, he says "At least let me breathe, please."

I slightly loosen my grip on his neck. When I do, he turns and sits on the couch while still holding me. At this point, I'm basically in his lap. I would be elated, but I feel to dizzy to enjoy the moment. Who needs sex when you're busy trying not to puke on someone?

"Terra, are you okay? You should try drinking. It may help." His voice is soft and gentle. Its so soothing.

"Even if I'm nauseous?" I sound like a little kid. If I weren't feeling so unwell, I'd have been mortified.

With a soft laugh, he patiently says "Yes, even if you're nauseous. Blood is revitalizing for us. Think of this as the vampire version of Ematrol. "

That stuff my mom would give me when I was sick? I'll admit, it worked wonders. If he says it'll work, I have no choice but to believe him. Softly biting into his neck, I start to drink.

While I do, Cam gently pets my head like I'm a pet, and whispers in my ear in a calm voice. "There, it's ok. Just take it slow."

His voice vibrates against my lips as I drink his blood. It kind of tickles. As I drink, the pain subsides, but I'm still dizzy. As I pull away from his neck, I find it hard to think straight. I lay my head on his shoulder and look up at him. His lips look so soft. They're nice and full. And his eyes look like a beautiful emerald green as he looks down at me, worry etched onto his face.

I'm too busy looking at his lips to register it tough. So soft. In my haze, I reach up and gently brush them with my thumb. I want them.

Placing my hand on his cheek, I lean up and pull him to me. Its the best kiss of my life. I was right. They're soft and warm. Taking it slow and savoring the moment, I kiss him tenderly, exploring each curve. When my head starts to pound, I pull away. He looks at me, surprised of course. His eyes are filled with a combination of worry and lust.

I become painfully aware of each angle of his toned body against my soft curved one. When I work up the courage to run my hand over him though, my vision gets spotty. I close my eyes tightly and place a hand on his chest. Before I pass out, I manage to whimper his name. "Cameron..."
