Chapter 3 Chaos

Amelia's POV

  After my adoption process was complete. I moved with my new parent to Italy. I did not take anything along with me because they said everything was already prepared. When we reached our destination,the car stopped,someone in a black suit opened the car door even before I attempted to.

  I got down from the car and my first sight made me gasp in awe,this is a very huge and beautiful house. Almost like I have never seen anything like this,I thought they only existed in stories. My new mother,no,my mother realised my surprised expression and walked towards me,I snapped back to reality.

  "Don't worry Mia,you won't be alone there's a big brother waiting for you inside the house"Mrs Anderson said, I nodded in response. This is surely a very rich family,look at these security,and the surrounding.

  When we entered into the living room, I was welcomed by two young maid. The living room looks luxurious and breathtaking. I scanned the whole room with a surprised expression.

  'So, I am adopted into a rich family, how lucky I am'

  "Mia,these are your personal maids, Irene and Joey"Mom introduced them to me and they slightly bowed,I also nodded.

  "Irene take Mia to her room, I would be back home by tomorrow because I have something to do"Mom said and faced me.

  "Mia,I would be back tomorrow,if you need anything you can ask any of the maids" Mom said with those beautiful smiles and left for work.

  The maids took me to my room, and as expected,the room also looks luxurious,when the maids left,I took my bath and when I was looking for clothes to put on,I couldn't because all the clothes were looking expensive,'what I did not like'. I chose the simple looking one. I decided to go outside to the living room,when I opened the door a little bit my heart was beating fast,I am not scared but I am nervous. I stepped out of the room and headed to the living room,I did not know the way there because we used the elevator to reach here. I decided to just walk around,while strolling around the house I saw the living room. I walked down the steps

  "Hey,you are Mia"I heard a boy's voice and search the living room to see the source of the voice,I found him. He he looks a bit older than me,just like Sam. He is tall,and has a golden brown hair.

  "You are Mia,right"he asked again and I nod in response.

  "I'm Edward,your big brother"Edward said with proudness.

  'Maybe,he is happy that he now has a little sister' I said to myself.

  "Dad and Mom said they would be back tomorrow"Edward said

  "Yeah,she told me" I walked towards one of the sofa and sat on it. I realised that he was holding something in his had,I stared at it to know what it is but I could not figure it out,but I know it has some connection with the TV, Edward realised that I am staring at the thing he was holding.

  "Do you want to play videogame"he asked

  "Huh,v-videogame, what's it" I asked with a confused expression,and Edward bursted into laughter.

  "You are joking,right?" Edward asked

  "No,I am not" I frowned

  "It's a lie,are you kidding me" Edward said with disbelief.

  "I am serious. Can you teach me how to play it" I asked.

  "Okay,okay I will. But this is not an ordinary videogame, it's PlayStation 3" Edward said

  "I don't mind" I said.

  Learning new things is one of the things I love, I need to learn to adapt to this new phenomenon, especially my new family.

  Few weeks later after my arrival in my new home, I started school. I and Edward attend the same school but he is a senior. My first day at school was a freaking total mess, but something I have never experienced in my life happened to me.

  My Day At School

  We reach school early,the school is very large and full of rich kids,some of the girls were even looking at me as we were heading to the cafeteria,to me it was weird. When we reach the cafeteria, I sat down and started eating, I noticed that the student were still looking in me , I was feeling uncomfortable.

  "Edward" I whispered to him with my head facing my food,even my hair covered my face.

  "Yes!,what is it" Edward asked in a silent tone

  "Why are they all staring at me"I asked

  "Maybe because you are a new student, or.." Edward stopped talking.

  "Or what?" I asked 

  "Or maybe because they were not expecting someone this beautiful to be my sister" Edward smiled.

  "`not expecting`,what do you mean by not expecting, does everyone knows that we were adopted" I asked.

  "Not that they know that we were adopted. Our parent is tagged as the one of the most wealthy business tycoon."Edward whispered.

  "OH, that's the reason"I said in realization fiddling with my long red hair.

  While we were still busy with our lunch,some gang of girls walked towards us.

  "So this is the girl that everyone as been talking about"A blonde girl who seems to be their leader said,looking at me as if... If I should study the way she looked at me, those eyes looked as if they were irritated, jealous and yet surprised with what they saw.

  "What do you want Daisy."Edward said.

  'So this is Daisy,the girl Edward told me about. He told me that no one dare to confront her,she has always been full of pride because her father is the world famous and undefeated business tycoon. Our parent are the second in position after him.

  "I guess I came to visit this beautiful young lady here"Daisy said sarcastically and looked at me.

  "Who is she?"I asked Edward in a murmuring tone.

  "She is...

  "No need to tell her who I am,I will introduce myself to her"Daisy cut in,and sat beside Amelia with her legs crossed

  "I am a very popular girl in this school. I am the daughter of the CEO in this country's leading business country. I love getting attention from people, especially guys. But if the attention is driven away from me to someone else,it drives me crazy."Daisy narrated.

  "What should I benefit from what you just said."I said carelessly.

  "Oh, does this girl think I am that cheap to play pranks on"Daisy shouted and the other girls laughed along with her calling the attention of the whole student in the cafeteria.

  "She is such a disrespectful girl."one of the girls said.

  "I thought your family value respect,but you don't even possess one"said another girl.

  "Enough!! Girls. I don't have time for that now." Daisy raised her hand up in a fist signaling for them to be quiet.

"Anyways, I love the colour of your hair,did you spray it." Daisy said and moved her hand forward to touch Amelia's hair, but before she could extend her hand forward Amelia held her hand away.

  "Don't touch my hair,I don't want any trouble" Amelia said and her green eyes were very bold like never before. Daisy shuddered with was she saw.

  "Looks like this girl here as got some gut,tch" one of the girls said.

  "Are you trying to threaten me"Daisy tried to act as if she did not feel affected with what she just saw.

  "My words do not mean threats,I mean NO THREAT" I said in a controlled tone of anger.

  "My words mean no threat,I mean no threat"Daisy mimicked Amelia.
