After lying down for about half an hour, King White returned, holding a plate of hot food.

As a cultivator, her recovery abilities were quite powerful. It was unknown whether it was due to Emperor Chloe suddenly opening up some blocked pathways earlier, but she felt much more relaxed and didn't experience any pain from being tortured.

She leaned against the bed, watching him place the hot food on the side. For some reason, her eyes felt warm.

Lowering her head, she whispered, "Thank you."

King White quietly looked at her for a moment before leaving again.

Once Emperor Chloe recovered and could walk on the ground, King White no longer brought her food and drinks. Instead, she had to find it all herself.

Meanwhile, King White still sat on that platform, absorbing the spiritual energy of heaven and earth while continuing his cultivation.
