Chapter 34 - Hayate-sensei!!!

After begin dismissed, Naruto asked Sakura where did Kakashi go, and after knowing that he was at the hospital Naruto went away, and only Ren and Sakura remain and soon they choose to go home.

On the way back Ren noticed that something was wrong with Sakura so he choose to ask directly "Sakura what is wrong with you? You have been silent ever since we left the Forest of Death, you know that you can tell me anything right?"

Hearing that Sakura give Ren a weak smile and replies "It's that I'm worried about Sasuke-kun is opponent is merciless, he did that to Lee-san and he enjoyed it, and I just do not know how to help and I feel so useless right now, every other genin in the exam had something more... and all I did was using some basic ninjutsu tought at the academy and never tried to learn something extra, if it wasn't for you I'm sure, I'll even train only with my team and Kakashi-sensei taught us next to nothing now that I think about it he only tought us chakra control..."

As Sakura was venting on Ren the finally reached the commercial district of Konoha, and Ren seeing where he was took Sakura hand "What..." and dragged her into one of the shops, a library to be more precise.

Once inside Ren went directly towards one of the shelf and Sakura asked "What are we doing here?" but Ren just smile said "Wait" and took 3 book from it, paid for it and then before she could continue to ask he again took her hand and dragged her out of the shop in the direction of their house.

Once again on the streets he said "I'll explain to you once we are at home" and it didn't take much more time that they were in front of their house door, Sakura took the key and opened the door and entered while saying "I'm home" and Ren did the same but no one replied.

Once in the livingroom the found a message from their parent that said that they were out for a long escort mission and will come back in 2 month seeing the message Ren let out a sigh of relief while thinking 'And so they are safe from Pedo-sennin attack.....I feel I'm forgetting something really important....'

But Ren thought was interrupted by a now annoyed Sakura that said "Now will you tell me why you suddenly stopped at the library and brought 3 books while I was telling you about my problems?"

Ren then took out the books from the shopping bag a put it on the table, then Sakura was finally able to see their titles, and Ren said "Anatomy, Introduction to Medical Ninjutsu, and Iyashi no Jutsu(Healing Technique) these are my gift and answer to your problem, think about your team, Sasuke is an all-rounder, Naruto is close-range trickster and both are kinda reckless, do you want to help them? then become a medical ninja, heal and support them, but I warn you begin a medic-nin is hard, and these books only teach you the basic of the basic"

Sakura stood there silent for a while looking at the books then she made a decision went near Ren hugged him and said "Thanks Ren-nii now I know what to do", took the book and went in her room.

Then Ren prepared the dinner and when he was looking outside the window he saw the full moon rising 'Tonight is a full moon huh.....' the he opened his eyes wide remembering the things he forgotten 'Holy fucking Bijuu shit.....Hayate-sensei!!!!' then he yelled "Sakura! I have something to do, eat without me!" and went in his room took some black powder draws a circle, with the appropriate symbols set apart in four quadrants upon the ground, using it while chanting, place his palms down under the circle to activate the spell and say "Bakudō #58. Kakushitsuijaku (Footprint-Attentive Pursuing-Sparrows)" and the circle glows with a blue light as the symbols within the circle are animated.

Soon Ren find Hayate-sensei position and at his fastest speed run towards him, Ren jumped from roof to roof while still keeping an eye on the moon position in the sky 'The moon just started rising, I still got time...'

Soon Ren reached his target, but what he saw almost caused him an aneurism, they were still on the main street of Konoha and his sensei, a ninja at the rank of jonin of one the strongest Hidden Village of this world, is simply following his target,

A very tall man, he has two distinctive, red markings on the right side of his face, the only visible part of his head, with the rest being covered by his turban-like head gear and by a sheet hanging from it on the left side of his face, he dons the standard attire of a Suna-nin, complete with a forehead protector and flak jacket he is Baki,

Just by hiding in the fucking corners of the streets and without even using his Tōton Jutsu(Transparent Escape Technique), in hurry Ren use his spiritual sense to check if his sensei is begin followed by Kabuto or some other spy,

Thankfully he was not, so Ren in hurry rush to his side and Hayate that notice something was wrong was about to draw his ninjato but stops when he saw it was Ren that was signaling him to keep quite and follow after him.

So they increase the distance while still keeping an eye on Baki, and before Hayate could cough Ren says in a low voice "What the hell sensei, is your girlfriend pregnant? Is that why you are trying to kill yourself? How the hell do you follow a possible enemy and you do not even use the Tōton Jutsu, even if you are just suspicious of the sand while they are technically our ally, you should still make sure that you are never found"

Hayate immediately realize his mistake and say "*cough*cough You are right Ren I was careless, but now you have to go away, if this as something to do with what is happening in the village then *cough*cough i have to keep follow him" and Hayate was starting to do hand seals for his jutsu.

But was again interrupted by Ren who said "Sensei if this has something to do with Orochimaru then your jutsu will be useless" once again Hayate opened his eyes wide and asked "How do you know about Orochimaru?" and Ren explain that his sister's team was attacked by him and that he also saw him during the 2nd test.

Then he says "If you really want to follow him, I should come with you, but please do not tell anyone what are you going to see" then Ren put his hand on Hayate-sensei shoulder and said "Bakudō #26. Kyokkō (Bent Light)"
