"How's the thing about the new helper?" Alexei Hanz, Marcus's father asking Butler David while having dinner at Hanz Mansion.
"She's already settled in, Sir."
"What did Marc say?" it didn't even care to look at its employee.
"He was reluctant at first. But since you put her there, he just accepts it as it is."
"Good. Just let her feel comfortable around him. And we'll see if my plan really works."
"As you wish, Sir."
"Set an appointment later with her. I'd like to get to know her better."
Butler David's sweat began to surface. Was it really a good idea to lie to his master?"
"I know who exactly who that person that you tried to put in here," Marc said as it walked him towards the car. "But I won't tell Dad about it either. So don't worry."
"Oh? And what exactly are you planning to do?" he countered back.
"Like what you and others intended to do in the first place. To use him as a chess piece." Marcus smiled at him with a hint of wickedness. Indeed, one's blood cannot be denied however he despises them.
"How is Marcus doing with the other students?" his thoughts were pulled back instantly with Alexei Hanz's voice.
"With the new helper coming in. I bet that the rumors about him will soon subside."
"That is exactly what I'm counting on. If I can get him to like that girl, I wouldn't care even if she's from the lower class."

Erin was at the coffee shop seeking advice from Reese and Lizzy. When a car passed by them.
"Stop the car," said Marc to Andrei who was behind the steering wheel. Dylan only stared at the latter with confusion in his eyes.
"Hey, aren't they the ones responsible for ruining your shirt that day?"
He was about to go to another meeting when he bumped into Erin that day. It was another blind date set up by his Dad. He made it look as though Erin was the clumsy one. But to be honest, he planned to sabotage the blind date. And Erin was just at the right place at the right time.
"Do you want me to buy you a drink inside?" Andrei asked innocently.
"No." Actually, he wanted to tease Erin for a while. But what excuse could he have with his bodyguards beside him? They aren't still aware that Erin is actually the boy talking to his friends inside. "Let's go," he ordered. Yet his eyes caught sight of the person that approached Erin just now. "Wait," Andrei had to step on the breaks abruptly as he ordered.

"You don't have to think about it. I was the one to put you in that position in the first place. So, it's really not your fault." Reese said holding his hand from the table. "I won't blame you if you ever decide to leave."
"I'm fine." he tried to cheer his friend up a bit. "What did your father say? Did he get angry with you?"
Reese slowly shook its head.
"He just discussed something with me."
"Like what?" Lizzy then interrupted.
"He wanted to proceed with Marc's plan as well. But I doubt that something good would come out of it. I've only seen Marc's father once, and he is quite scary."
"You mean, more than his son?" Lizzy said adding more to his nerves.
"It doesn't even compare to it."
Now, he's even more scared to go through it now.
"Erin," all three of them turned their heads on the voice that called his name just now.
"Lucas?"
Both Lizzy and Reese mouthed the name on each other. They both knew who it was from his stories.
He was the first love of Erin's life. And also his first heartbreak.

The two of them sat across from his friend's table. Lucas looked glad to see him. More than what he could say for himself.
"I've run an errand around here. And I thought of dropping by your dormitory. But the one at the front desk said that-"
"Yes," he unconsciously bit his lower lip. "There was a bit of a problem."
"So, where do you stay now? Do you have a place to go?"
"I'm- at a friend's house." he lied.
Lucas gently held his hand that was sitting on top of his lap.
"You know you can always come home right? Your sister and I miss you." he gently pulled his hand back from it.
Of course, he knew. And he does too. But he just can't get himself to see to accept the fact that he and his sister are in love with the same man.
