Rat Attack

As the first day of survival training ends, everyone finally shows what they got, and as Xin expected, Xiao Wu and Zhuqing are the only two who can survive here.

The two of them find a good camping site, build their own camping cabin made from the natural resources of the jungle.

They even create three handmade beds for the three of them, with Rongrogn who join them of course, and prepare food for their dinner.

Opposite from them are the boys, consisting Tang San, Dai Mubai, Fatty, and Oscar who made a simple bed made from wood and fire in the middle of the cold night.

They have food and it's unlimited, Oscar can give them an unlimited supply of Sausage but still, it's not enough.

Fatty envious look at the cozy cabin of the girls, he can't help but to ask," Brother San, can you make the same as them? I think it's much safer for us to make one."

"Sorry, I can't, I'm a blacksmith and not a carpenter but let's see tomorrow if we can make a good shelter."

Flender looks at the two groups, the difference is huge, and their expectation seems opposite.

He thought that the girl will be going to sleep outside on a cold night while the boys will find a good spot but it's different.

He did not expect that Xiao Wu and Zhuqing are versatile when it comes to survival activities like this.

Flender feels that the girls are more enthusiastic than the boys, he can feel that this group of kids is already lazy around after building their simple base.

"What do you think, teacher Xin," Flender asked.

"Someone will suffer later for sure, this stupid kids did not know anything at all."

"What do you mean?" Yu Xiaogang asked.

"You will know it later." Xin mysteriously said and started making his own camp.

While Flender, Zao Wou-ki, and Yu Xiaogang are confused, look at him.

"Do you guys want to prepare?" Xin asked.

"Well…. Can we share your tent? After all, the tent is huge." Flender shamelessly said, being stingy, he did not even prepare anything for this survival test, not even basic things like species or tents.

Xin smiles at them, making them all feel relieved, at least they don't need to sleep on the ground or sit while sleeping.

"No." Xin then closes the tent and starts sleeping, leaving the three of them getting bitten by mosquitoes.

"Damn Dean, why did you bring any items with us!"

"I thought you brought one?"

"How can i bring one if you did not even pay my wager honestly!"

"Didn't you win last time? I hear you bet huge and win a pretty hectic amount.

"How did you know!"

"I see it"

"Sorry to tell you I already bought the Spirit Bone just now so I'm announcing that I'm poor again."

Looking at these huge fools, Yu Xiaogang can only helplessly walk below a tree and sit to meditate.

Late at night, Flender, Zao Wou-ki, and Yu Xiaogang awakened from the shout of the student. They thought they were a benign attack again so they hurriedly ran towards them.

But what they discover is not an enemy but a bunch of 10-year-old Spirit Rat that is raiding their base.

"What happened! Why are there so many Rats here?!" Flender hurry ask.

"Dean… it seems Ma Hongjun's leftover food attacked these Rats…" Tang San helplessly said.

Ma Hongjun looked at them and said," Sorry…"

"Damn fatty, why did you even throw food anywhere, you even attract these Spirit Rats."

"Well never mind, try to fend off these Rats." Yu Xiaogang said.

"Why not kill them?" Dai Muba asked.

Yu Xiaogang looks at him like an idiot," If you kill them, more Rats will come to take revenge."

"Even Rats are the lowest Rank here, they have a huge number so don't provoke the more else you will be drowned by the number of Rats later."

The three teachers then go back to hide, leaving the unfortunate boys to be surrounded by a group of Rats.

".... why not change our base down to steam?" Fatty suggestion.

"That's impossible, this group of Rats will never leave us until they all get what they want… unless we go back to the town where a number of Soul Masters can scare them."

"Go back? Now? In the middle of the night? Brother San traveling in the middle of the night is more dangerous than at day."

Yu Xiaogang suddenly appear behind the trees and pass pouch to them," use this, the powder inside can repel Rats, Mice and some insect,"

They then apply the powder around their base and just like Yu Xiaogang said, it repels the Rats easily.

After that small incident, they then start taking turns to sleep... until.

"Ouch!"

"What's the matter Fatty?"

"Someone hit my forehead!"

"....." All of them realize that they can't really sleep tonight.

The powder can repel Rats and some insects but not Xin's attack, even Yu Xiaogang can't help them this time.
