Expansion to Infodump

Michael looks over the presented list and begins going over them,

Arc Warden, from what he remembered was able to split itself into two identical copies, both wielding the same power as the other. Its abilities besides that were rather lacklustre, the most interesting of which only created a small magnetized area that would negate all damage taken from outside of it, additionally speeding up anyone within it.

Bane, Michael vaguely remembered something about Bane being the manifestation of the collect nightmares of other gods, which was pretty scary when you thought about it. All of his abilities are pretty good, Enfeeble which would basically make one person useless for the duration. Brain Sap, a spell that dealt good damage while healing the caster for the same amount. Nightmare, which traps a target in a dream-like state for a long duration. And his ultimate, Fiend's Grip, which would deal huge damage, steal a shit of mana, and stun the victim for the duration. Very good.

Doom, the literally Satan of the Dota 2 world who just so happened to be called Lucifer... He had two main signature abilities, the first being Devour, which allowed him to eat people and absorb their abilities while gaining wealth... Somehow? And his ultimate, DOOM, which was a stupidly long-lasting curse that dealt huge damage while stopping the victim from using spells or items. His other abilities weren't bad either, a spell that created flames around him that also healed him, and 'Infernal Blade', which dealt a shit ton of damage, stunned, and slowed. Bueno.

Earth Spirit, the elemental manifestation of earth's spirit itself... To be honest, his abilities were kind of hard to use in the game, and he doubted they'd be any easier out of it. All of them relied on 'Earth Remnants' that he summoned, though, perhaps this was only a limitation of the game itself. Probably not worth the risk of picking.

Earth Shaker, a hairy ape thing that could cause earthquakes at a whim and permanently stunned people in the original game. His ultimate, Echoslam dealt more damage depending on how many people were nearby, transfer it to reality and you had the ability to one-shot entire armies with ease. His passive ability, Aftershock, was able to be abused as well, causing stunning mini-earthquakes after every spell cast... This meant that you could use many low cooldown spells and just permastun people. It was probably just as annoying in reality. A maybe.

Elder Titan, a hero with a gimmick around his Astral Spirit ability which allowed it to separate its spirit from its body and manipulate both simultaneously. Any attacks made through the spirit would attack the soul, and any attack made through the body would attack the body. Michael remembered well the hero's passive ability, Natural Order, which would reduce the base armour and magic resistance of any enemy in his vicinity to zero... This was stupidly powerful and would render dragon scale as strong as rotten wood. His ultimate wasn't bad either but, Astral Spirit and Natural Order were the main advantages. A strong possibility.

Ember Spirit, aspect of fire. Obviously, all of his abilities were based around fire and speed, Searing Chains kept his targets in place, Sleight of Fist attacking all enemies in an area simultaneously at an instant, Flame Guard protecting against magic attacks while burning everyone around it, and his Fire Remnants allowing him to teleport almost anywhere he wished at a whim. Very strong.

Leshrac, a glowing blue horseman wizard... Thing? His abilities were based around three things, Damage, Damage, and Damage. Only one of his abilities really did something other than that, stunning people in an area while dealing large damage in the process... He was an Area of Attack monster, and his ultimate, a togglable ability, would disintegrate anyone stupid enough to get close to him. A good pick.

Mars, Michael wasn't sure why the Greek Gods were in Dota 2, but they existed regardless. Mars is the God of War and had abilities to suit him. The only ranged ability he has is throwing his spear, everything else was designed around melee attack, defence, and keeping his opponents close. Not something Michael was really interested in to be honest, especially since he'd likely grant bonuses towards mastering weaponry, something his Gandalfr rune already did.

Morphling, Dota 2's answer to 'The Thing'. A water creature that could manipulate its body to become anything, exchanging Strength for Agility, firing its body at people, turning into a wave of destructive force, or even turning into someone else with most of their abilities. Michael wondered if the Morph ability would work on other gods? It worked on Mars and Zeus so it should, right? Regardless, a good contender for getting chosen.

Outworld Destroyer, there were only two words to describe this hero... INFINITE MANA! His passive ability Essence Shift granted him a chance to regain half of his total mana after every spell cast. Combine that with many low-cost spells and Michael would never have to worry abut mana drain again... That meant, infinite Laguna Blades, infinite Global Silence, infinite Ghostships, infinite Winter's Curse, etc. Sure, it might not mean much now that he was fighting in the big leagues of gods, but it was still impressive. His other abilities were all based on stealing intelligence and dealing damage to those depending on how much less intelligence the enemy has compared to him. GOooooood.

Phoenix, a literal living star that could go Supernova whenever it wanted, did he mention that it gets reborn afterwards too? Recovering from ANYTHING that was affecting it prior to the Supernova. It could fire sun rays, essentially a giant laser that would harm enemies and heal allies, and also fly around like air-speed velocity was just phrase. Stronk.
