"Michael... When you offered to take me out, I thought it was for a date or something..." Saeko sighs as she's led up a seemingly random mountain pass.
"I mean, you can count this as a date? Besides, I thought you'd like to hunt some vampires, you know, being a Werewolf and all..." he shrugs.
"You're not going to let that go, are you?"
"No... You do realise Hircine now has a stake on your soul, right? There's no heaven for you anymore, only living as some douche-bag god's dog..."
She shakes her head, "And do you realise that I can cure myself by burning the Glenmoril Witch's head?"
...
"Oh yeah, kinda forgot about that. Kodlak's cured himself then?"
She nods, "He has, along with Vilkas. Farkas is also thinking about it but isn't in any rush. Shakeesh doesn't care either way... I think he expects himself to live forever or something?"
"How's your 'Affliction' treating you then? Feel any different?"
"Well... I've grown more hair in, some places..." she shakes her head, "My senses are better, and I'm far stronger than before. Transforming and hunting is fun, and I'm slowly learning to control it... I have had some other problems though, remember Surtr? Well, I can smell him lusting for me even in the outskirts around Whiterun..."
"Huh..."
"I rejected him of course, but. He didn't take it well. I suspect all the fame is getting to his head."
"I'm not surprised to be honest, it's not the first time a Dragonborn has become an ass hole." he mutters, recalling the First Dragonborn called Miraak that he'd learned about while going back through the game with Megumin.
To be honest, he felt kinda bad about being directly responsible for his permanent imprisonment. He was stuck with the tentacle otaku god now that Nirn and Oblivion was separated...
"There was another?"
Michael nods, "Yeah, guy tried to enslave, well, everyone..."
...
"Hey, if we're hunting vampires why are we not headed to Fort Dawnguard to meet up with the vampire hunters?" Saeko inquires.
"Because I'm trying to nip the problem in the bud here and now. The reason the vampires are going mad is because they're searching for a hidden tomb that holds a sleeping vampire, who also happens to have an Elder Scrool."
"Are you going to kill her?"
"Err, not exactly? She's like the... Zuko? Yeah, she's the Zuko of this situation." he states, thinking of a character they both knew. As a man of culture, he'd made sure to educate everyone on the elegance of the Avatar...
Saeko frowns, "So not only is this not a date, but you're taking me to help you pick up another woman..."
Michael nods, "Yeah, that's the gist of it. You're not going to complain now, are you? A girl attempting to seduce Tiffania's honest man?"
Saeko's brow twitches, "No. But we'll see what this 'vampire' has to say when I have a moment to speak with her."
"As long as you tell the truth and nothing but the truth!... If you wanna play me up a bit though, I wouldn't say no..."
"In your dreams."
The conversation ends and the two continue climbing the path, eventually stopping when they spot a group of robed people guarding the entrance of Dimhollow Crypt.
Saeko sniffs the air, "Vampires, and at mid-day too? They're getting cockier."
Michael shakes his head, "Their boss probably forced them to go as soon as they heard word of the Crypt, under the sun or not... How'd you wanna do this? It's your date after all."
She grips the handle of her dragon bone and ebony Katana, "Let me start with Kakonoitami, see if they're worth getting excited over." she states with a steadily growing grin.
"You named it?"
"Of course, any good blade deserves a name. Now watch." she says as she sprints out of the cover they were hiding behind, her rapid steps soundlessly kicking up dust as she moves in to attack.
"See partner, that's a woman who appreciates her blades." Derflinger remarks from his hip.
"She's about to start chopping up walking corpses, are you really going to start complaining?" he retorts, silencing his blade.
The group of vampires are taken off guard as the purple-haired Ansei charges them as they'd not expected to be attacked, a few draw their weapons while others try to prepare some spells, but they were unable to as Saeko was already upon them.
"FIGHT ME! SUEKUE!" she shouts, her form blurring as she steps into the center of the enemy's hastily made formation.
*SLIIK!*
Blood spatters from the front most vampire, the man's eyes widening as his head falls from his neck. He lets out a silent scream as his body blackens and turns to dust.
*CLANK!*
Three vampires try to strike her down with their weapons, but their vampiric speed proves useless as she easily deflects them.
*SLICE!*
Another goes does, but her second target bursts into a cloud of bats as she goes to take his head.
*Hrrg!* she grunts as two vampires simultaneously cast life drain at her, the spell was all but undodgeable at such closer ranges, but luckily it wasn't anywhere near strong enough to put her down... All they'd done was draw her attention.
The vampires run behind a nearby tree for cover but Saeko ignores it and slashes anyway, "GAHEIL!" she shouts the technique as her sword cuts cleanly through both the large tree and the two vampires, killing them.
She turns a blood-thirsty gaze to the remaining foes and grins at them, "Who's next!?"
...
A minute later Michael walks over with while eyeing the piles of ash-covered clothes and a flushed-faced Saeko... She wasn't tired, but that only made him warier to approach, surely there was a written rule somewhere to not approach horny sadistic Werewolves?
"Enjoy yourself?"
She nods and flicks her blade clean before sheathing it, "Always. It's a shame they don't really match the legends..."
He scoffs, "You're the Ansei here, you've got no ground to stand on when talking about 'legends'."
