"Aurora! Excellent choice in the dress. Some people have dressed over the top for the occasion and now they are complaining about the heat. Like I can control that. They should have asked for my opinion on their outfits before tonight," Cherry hugged Aurora and then looked at Vincent. "You look good for once Vincent."

"Wish I could say that to you, Cherry," Vincent replied.

"You can't because I look good all the time," Cherry spun around to show off her white outfit. "Like a bribe. This is the necklace causing all of the gossips?"

"We just came in, it has reached your ears already?" Aurora asked full of surprise.  Cherry wasn't anywhere near the entrance but she heard about the necklace before they reached her. "It's crazy how fast gossip travels," she muttered, slightly amazed. How could they have spread around she was wearing the necklace so quickly? These people must be professionals.
