"I was never a fan of those dresses when I was growing up. That was all my mothers doing but my father would allow me to dress in pants whenever my mother went away. Pants make it easier for me to get around while dresses get in the way. Now I dress how I want without caring about anyone's opinion." Jane preferred this over constantly trying to keep up with fashion so no one would talk about her for being behind on trends.

"Alice Moon. Your mother used to give me nightmares and to be completely honest, she still scares me to this day. My family isn't as rich as Jane's and her mother would criticize the dresses my mother picked for me to wear. Alice used to make me hate myself for not being able to look as pretty as the other little girls," Cherry explained to Aurora.
