The Son I Love More Than My Own

(From Evan's Perspective)

"He can recognize our voice, especially mine. He also can lift his head, like he is doing now, look," Blue said excitedly.

We were in Dion's room, which was adjacent to the grand bedroom. There was a door in between, connecting them. Dion's room did not have any other entrance or exit other than the one which led to Blue and the King's bedroom. There was no window in this room. It was just perfect to keep their precious boy safe.

Dion was now on his stomach in his crib with his head lifted slightly as his black eyes followed us closely.

"We made this room for him, but he has not slept here yet. I feel really…"

"I understand," I said. "Fear will be there. We fear for the ones we love."

"Yeah… But I think we should start letting him sleep in his own room. Or, it might turn into a bad habit or something," she said.
