Chapter 16

“Hey, Mike,” Adam said. “Thanks for helping out with the twins and unpacking their things, Thank you, too, Megan.”

“No problem, Adam.”

“I don’t mind helping out, Papa.”

Adam grinned at the father and daughter duo, especially Megan, who had started calling him “Papa” and Lance “Dad” about two weeks ago. Nathan and Holly had been calling Mike “Daddy” for just as long. His eyes returned to Mike, taking in the sight of that muscular build. He and Lance had discussed inviting Mike into their bed, but they were unsure on how they should broach that particular subject.

“I ordered pizza,” Lance said.

“Thanks, babe. Mike and the kids are definitely hungry by now. It’s way past lunch time.”

“No problem. Why don’t we watch something on television while waiting for the pizza?”

“That’s a good idea, Lance.”
