“Where’s mine?” Diego asked, batting his eyes at Rohan.

Percy chuckled. Rohan frowned at Diego before offering the other alpha another packet of food.

“Here, and please don’t do that again. You looked stupid and weird.”

“Ouch!” Diego exclaimed, sounding overly dramatic and theatrical. “You’re my boyfriend. You can’t speak like that to me. It’s cruel.”

Rohan scowled. “Don’t exaggerate.”

Diego placed the packet on the picnic blanket before clutching at his chest over his heart. “You hurt my feelings.”

Percy rolled his eyes. “Stop playing around.”

Diego sighed. “I’m trying to impress you both with my jokes, but I’m so underappreciated.”

Percy snorted. “Well, your jokes are horrible.”

“I agree,” Rohan added. “You need better material.”

Diego huffed. “Excuse me? You take that back! My jokes are hilarious. Everyone loves them.”

“Yeah? Do you include real people? Or is that everybody in your imagination?” Rohan shot back.
