Doomed Banana Boat

"Where have you been, Tasia?" Tata woke up when Tasia carefully lay back on their bed.

"I went out for a while because I couldn't sleep. My mind is in a mess, so I tried to get some air outside." She immediately covered her body with a white bed cover because she was cold after being hit by the night sea breeze.

"But.. what the..?" Tata frowned as she sat up quickly.

Tasia smiled, "I'm totally fine, Tata. About the myth, I don't know if it's true or not. The proof is, I'm still saved and sound here, right?"

"It's not that. This is a smell from your body, isn't it? The smell of flowers, like so many kinds of flowers that mixed together for bathing in salons. Or... those that usually found in the graves." Tata was getting confused.

"Oh, really, Ta? Your nose might be in trouble. Or.. you want to scare me, huh? Hahaha.. never mind, I'm sleepy. I want to sleep now!" She laughed as immediately turned her back to Tata who was still looking at her in a confused face.

"Yeah, maybe I did deliriously." Tata thought in her mind. Although she was still in surprise, she decided to continue sleeping.

From the room, a pair of glowing yellow eyes watched the girls without them noticing.

"I'll take you home," Hadyan muttered.

The next day, Tasia and her friends played in the water on the beach.

"Watch out Mark! Don't swim too far!" Tata shouted.

"Tck.. that Mark, just because he is good at swimming, he thinks the ocean can't swallow him." Jordi shook his head.

"Then I'll catch him up! Mark! Wait! I'll save you from the sea ghost!" Patra shouted by running further into the water of the shore until he swam when his feet no longer could stand on the sand.

"That idiot! His mouth needs to be taped!" Marya nagged in furious.

Tasia couldn't help but laugh at the guy's stupid behaviour, "Remember, Marya. If later we are disturbed by ghosts, we must ask for Patra responsible."

"Ah.. Tasia. Where are your flip-flops? Why are you wearing shoes?" Ask Tata as she looked at Tasia's feet which were wrapped in a Tosca green sneaker.

Tasia's face immediately turned sour, "Patra borrowed it to play futsal until it was dirty and stretchy yesterday."

Immediately, Tata and Marya laughed when they imagined Patra's big feet wearing Tasia's feminine sandals.

"Oh! I just remembered! Last night, I met a very cute little boy. He was staying in the stingray block room." Tasia said excitedly.

"Little boy? In the middle of the night like that? How can that be?" said Marya.

"That's right Mar, I'm not kidding. His parents were very careless about letting his child play alone. So I brought him back to his room. Come on, let's go there, who knows if they haven't checked out yet. The kid is very cute, you must be excited to see him. Especially you , Marya, you like children, don't you?" Tasia told them enthusiastically that she could pull Marya's hand.

"Then let's go there then," Marya replied, provoked by her friend's enthusiasm.

Then the three of them walked towards the string ray block while chatting at the same time. Most of the talk was filled with Tasia's story about the cuteness of the child's face last night and how innocent his words were, especially the boy's ability to flirt.

Finally, they arrived at the far end of the rooms which was the children's room that Tasia had told them about. Coincidentally, there was a resort maid who was unlocking the door of the room.

"Excuse me ma'am, are the guests of this room inside?" Tasia greeted her.

The maid lady turned around with a frown, "The guests? They haven't come yet, Miss. They will come tonight. That's why I have to clean up this room." She said.

"I mean, the occupant who slept in this room last night, ma'am. A man with a little boy about seven years old. Or have they checked out?"

The maid shook her head confused, "No one has rented this room for the past two weeks, Miss. Maybe you have the wrong room."

Tasia shook her head quickly, "I think I'm right, ma'am. I'm sure, the room was the one located at this very end of this rooms block. This resort doesn't have too many rooms. Only these two rooms block are here, I couldn't be wrong." Her insistence made the maid frown even more.

"Maybe you got the wrong block, Tasia. It was very late yesterday, maybe you saw the wrong block." Said Tata.

"But there are only two blocks in this row, Ta. Every two blocks are bordered by a large lobby." Marya denied.

"That's right, maybe you saw the wrong room?" Asked Tata again.

"It is impossible to go to the wrong room here, Miss. Because in String rays' block, all the rooms have been empty since two days ago," The maid said. Indeed, this area was still didn't have many visitors.

Dub! A loud bang hit Tasia's chest. Suddenly she shivered uncontrollably.

As soon as she glanced at her friends, it turned out that their faces were also pale.

"Sorry Miss, you shouldn't go out at night. I.. I'll excuse myself now." said the maid. She cancelled her job to clean the room, chose to lock it close again and immediately left quickly.

"Are you joking with us, Tasia?" Mary asked.

Tasia shook her head, "I'm not joking. You know I never dare to joke about this kind of thing."

"Are you sure you weren't dreaming?" Asked Tata.

"No way, Ta. You saw for yourself last night I went out the room."

"Tata.. let's get out of here!" Marya began to panic in fear.

Then they immediately returned to the beach where the boys were playing piggyback on the shoreline.

Patra caught their presence and immediately ran over to them.

"Come on girls. Let's just forget about it. Don't tell the others, okay?" Tata said quickly.

Marya and Tasia nodded obediently.

"Where have you girls been? How come your face looks like you've seen a ghost?" He laughed.

"We just walked around to the back there. Yes, now the ghost is in front of us." Tata answered as nothing happened.

"Huft.. Evil woman. Remember, if you want to test your guts, don't forget to invite me." Patra turned his back. He knew all of his friends in this group even the three girls in front of him had a great curiosity. It was just that Tata was very stubborn to admit it.

"Who would want to do something stupid like that?" Tata rolled her eyes.

"There. See?!" Marya pointed Patra right in his face.

Patra immediately slapped Marya's hand in annoyance.

"Hey! Let's play banana boat here!" Mark shouted, who was already wearing a life jacket, and behind him was a giant banana along with a boat with the driver to pull the banana into the sea.

"Wow! He is unpredictably fast!" Patra muttered excitedly.

"Yeah! Banana boat!" Marya exclaimed following Patra who had run first.

"Come on, Tata!" Tasia pulled Tata's arm to rush to the shoreline. It seemed that they had quickly forgotten the mystical incident they had just experienced.

Actually, Tasia and Tata were still quite disturbed by the incident. Every now and then the incident crossed their minds, but they quickly brushed it off.

Patra, Tata, Jordi, Marya, Tasia, and Mark. They sat in a line from front to back. Then immediately the boat pulled their banana ride towards the middle of the sea.

"Waaaa!!!!" They shrieked together with joy as the boat at full speed pulled the banana against the roar of the strong wind and broke the waves that shook the giant banana they were riding. The strong wind was even able to make their hair that was damp dry.

When they finally arrived in the middle of the sea, the boat that was towed the giant banana quickly turned a sharp turn, deliberately trying to make their banana ride fall upside down.

And..

SPLASH!! They all plunged into the water.

"Buahahahaha!" They laughed with joy as the life jackets they wore brought them back to float on the water.

"Crazy! Marya screamed so loud! It felt like my eardrums were about to burst!" Jordi complained while wiping his face which was wet by the salty seawater.

"It wasn't just me! Tasia was screaming really loud too!" Marya defended herself as she laughed.

"Huh?! Where's Tasia?!" Mark exclaimed.

"Tasia! Tasia!" Tata and Marya shouted, realizing that their friend was not there.

Everyone was looking and shouting at Tasia's name while floating in the middle of the sea. The girl disappeared.

"Sir! One of our friends is missing, Sir!" Patra exclaimed in panic at the boat driver.

"Oh My! All of you hurry up and get on the banana first!" Told the driver in a serious face. In his job ever, this was the first time for him to find someone was missing while playing a water sledge. He never had heard that case while he worked in this industry. Even the sea wave was not strong.

"Tasia!!" Her friends shouted again while sitting on the banana. But there was no answer. The sea surface looked deserted side by side with the clear sky without anything floating there.
