Thrown into water

"What did you say? Only forty copper coins?" The mer was really excited and his voice raised an octave causing other mers who were shopping in the mall to turn and look at him. 

They heard someone say that the cape berries were only forty copper coins and immediately came to the fruit section. 

"Did I hear it right? These cape berries are really forty copper coins?" 

"Are they really forty copper coins?" 

"Is this some kind of gimmick?" 

All kinds of questions started to pour down but the seller remained unfazed. She was used to such things and calmly replied to every question, "Yes they are indeed forty cents and no this is not a gimmick. These cape berries were sent to be sold and they might not be sold tomorrow. So if someone wants to buy——"

She did not even finish her words when the mers who came from the commoners' group, started raising their hands as they rushed to buy the cape berries. 

"Give me five catties!"
