The biased parents

Ding Yao dodged and looked at the shoe that was lying on the floor. Her expression turned dark as she turned to look at her father who was holding the other shoe and was looking at her angrily.

"What is the meaning of this daddy?" Even though Ding Yao was foolishly filial, she also had a temper. She just suffered so much at the barn and did not even take a sip of water when she returned home.

No one asked her how she was feeling or was she alright, instead hurled a shoe on her face. 

How could she not be angry? 

"You still have the cheek to ask such a thing?" Daddy Ding screeched. He pointed at Ding Yao and cursed at her angrily, "Everyone in the village now knows that you ate the fodder of the cow and were chased by it, even lost your dignity together with our face!" 

When Ding Yao heard the words of Daddy Ding, she understood something. She raised her head and looked at Gu Mo.

The mer who was smiling smugly lowered his head immediately.
