Chapter 74 - Mirror for training?!

Zhu Kang took a hot minute to really stop his heart from beating so fast.

"Kang?" Aaron waved his hand in front of his face. "is everything okay?"

"Y-yeah I'm good. I'm good," he nodded. "So when will our classes begin?"

"Today if you want,"

"Yes let's start it as soon as we can. Just a month.... yes. I can do this. I'm fired on!"

Aaron led him over to his study. It was on the second floor of the academy.

Kang never had the chance to explore this part of this place. Only the teachers and administrative staff were allowed here.

This flood didn't look much different from the hallways below.

Kang lost his interest in exploring right then. 'do they not have training rooms?'

This floor only had private rooms and meeting rooms. Till now, he did not spot a training room anywhere.

'Why is he taking me here then? Hmm weird...'

He slowly followed after him.

Just by the end of the corridor Aaron stopped and glanced back. he opened the door for him.

Kang walked in. This room was an actual bedroom. He froze in the doorway. The room was decorated in dual colors, black and white. There was no visible decoration in this place. Not even a small vase or anything. Just a blank room.

It did not look lived in.

'Wait… why are we here. Why the bedroom? Oh fuck. Is this like the cliché plot where the ceo wants to fuck?!!!! No I'm not ready. My virgin ass is not ready. I don't want to….'

"ummm you're standing in the way," Aaron gently patted his back.

Kang stepped back keeping a distance from them. if in case Aaron gets horny he did not want to be anywhere close to him. or else his heat with come back like a tidal wave.

"I….. I thought we were going to your office,"'

"We can't train in the open,"

"Why not?" he skeptically glanced at him. 'he does not look like he had any dirty intentions like that. Does he doubt my identity then?!.... Aaron is sharp he must have caught up to something or that stupid Altren must have blabbered something to him.. oh god.. Shit...'

"I would be called partial or biased if I do that," Aaron casually walked past him.

Kang tilted his head slightly. "so?"

"So I'm like the manager of this place. If I show preferential treatment to a novice like you the other hero trainees will definitely be jealous. They might even secretly bully you."

"Oh my god, I didn't think of that."

Superheroes were surprisingly mean to each other.

'Who knows, maybe the competition is harsh or something. But they were always on each other's throats.'

It was not apparent to the public but only after he came to this academy did he figure that out.

'This guy is smart. Why couldn't think of that.'

His mind was only filled with thoughts on how to survive. Small problems like this slipped away.

Somehow he felt stupid because of this.

"Come here," Aaron who had walked over to the right wall gestured for him to come close.

He tottered to him. "Yes?"

"This is my private training room. Only Altren has the authority to enter here," he placed a hand on the wall and a small fingerprint scanner opened up. "Place your hand here. I'll input your prints in here."

Kang looked up at him in shock. "Why do you trust me so much? What if I was the villain?"

Aaron let out a chuckle as a response. "Just place your hand,"

"Like seriously. I could be a villain," he placed his hand on the scanner keeping an eye on that taller blond man. His actions were confusing.

No one would have blind trust in others like that. Especially when you are in the field where you meet so many villains one must learn to doubt others' intentions.

'So why me? Is he secretly stupid? Or is he bonehead like Altren?'

A small electric shock passed through his finger tip.

"hiss.." he peered at the scanner. It changed colors to green and was displaying the message. {Access granted}

The vault-like door opened up.

Kang stood by the door without glancing in. His eyes were only on Aaron waiting for an answer. "You still didn't answer me yet."

Taking a deep breath, Aaron finally glanced down at him. "Because a villain would not worry so much for a kids kidnapping,"

"A villain can be apathetic,"

"Yes they can, but not like you. Sorry to say this but you don't even know how to lie properly Kang..."

"Agh I'm offended. I know how to lie very well,"

"Really?"

"Yeah really. I've lied all my life. In fact, my whole life is a lie. I'm a lier."

"I believe you," with a smirk he gestured for him to enter.

"No seriously, I'm a liar. You can't believe me, you idiot. Aren't you a hero? you have to doubt everyone and anyone's intentions. Geez didn't they teach you at school?"

Once again his lips were pinched by a warm hand.

Kang glared up at him. 'I'm only talking so much about his well-being. If you don't want to believe me fine. Go ahead. Believe me all you want. You have to face the consequences of your action young man,'

"Welcome to my training room."

Kang only then got the chance to look around. the whole place was surrounded by mirrors. The walls, the floors, the ceiling. It was fucking mirror house. it was spooky.

"A-are you sure this is for training...."

His dirty mind really couldn't help but think of so many ways the ceiling mirror were used in porn.

Aaron confusedly looked at him. "Mirrors help monitor your movements. You have to make sure your posture is good and your footing is good. This is just my physical training room. My ability training room is beyond that," he pointed to a small black fingerprint scanner.

"We are going to work on your body. Before that we need to analyze your powers," he walked over to one of the mirrored walls. He touched them and a virtual keyboard appeared. He typed something, and the mirror started to display the surveillance video of the attack.
