Start Your Engines: Final Lap

The race was once against brought to a reset as if everything had just started, the only difference now is that this is the final lap.
And since this was a long stretch of road once again, the Mustang known for its power was now once again in front of Kaga.
'I'll have to pull a miracle move then', Kaga thought to herself since she knows the Porche can't win right now, even with her skill, so she decided to pull a stunt.
From what she remembers clearly, there was a U-shaped road and at the end of it, there was the breathing room long enough for her to actually take the car out of a drift. And with that U-shaped road, she is planning to jump across the space between the 'U', which was basically a ravine.
If she were to successfully pull this off, she will easily take the lead and win the race with dozens of meters to spare.
Soon, they were approaching the first bend of the circuit, and this time she was taking the outer lane as her starter and will drift inwards.
[ALRIGHT, THEY WILL ONCE AGAIN GO THROUGH THE BEND, LET'S SEE HOW OUR DAREDEVIL INSIDE THE PORCHE WILL HANDLE THIS ONCE AGAIN!]
Once again, Kaga repeated her actions of steering hard left and bringing it back quick enough all the while pulling up the handbrake quickly. This caused the car to oversteer, but of course, it was controlled.
The moment the drift was initiated, she drifted closer and closer to the wall almost as if the car was caressing it like it's his wife. But soon the Porche started to face forward again, and with that, she slammed the gas to speed up the rotation of the wheels to gain traction immediately.
[WHOEVER THIS DRIVER IS, SHE SEEMS TO BE FRIENDS WITH DANGER AND DEATH WITH THOSE HARROWING MOVES!]
With each drift that Kaga bent into, the lead was just getting shorter and shorter, but they were now about to enter the U-shaped road that Kaga planned to jump over, this was only possible since the other side was on a lower level.
*VROOM VROOOOM!*
"Himiko, you might want to video this!", Kaga said as a huge grin was plastered on her face just imagining what she's about to do.
"HAI~!", Himiko playfully said and just keep recording what's happening around them and from time to time zooms in on the Kaga or the opponent.
[OH MY! WHAT'S THIS!? LADIES AND GENTLE, IT SEEMS THE PORCHE IS PICKING UP EVEN GREATER SPEED AND IS PLANNING TO JUMP ACROSS!]
"HERE WE GO!", with one final shout Kaga stepped on the gas even harder, threatening to break it.
*Woooosh~*
"Yahooooo~!", was all Himiko can exclaim.
[THEY WENT AIRBORNE!]
The audience watching this were now gobsmacked...was this secretly a movie production and they just didn't know? Then what's with the stunts that this Porche driver keeps attempting?
"You going to post this on HeroTube?"
"...yeah"
The crowd talked silently as they watched the car soar in the air with the abyss waiting underneath it, and the other side of the road acting as if hands of a savior.
Kaga boosted everything within her brain to the max to estimate whether the car will make it or if she needs her ice to help but from the looks of things they aren't slowing and are going to make it.
"...", the mustang driver who took the longer route...the normal route to be exact was now just staring at a soaring car, "...boss...she's got balls", his co-driver said.
*bang!*
*Sparks*
The car soon enough landed, torturing its suspension and body while leaving a few sparks from the skid plate scraping on the ground.
[S-SHE MADE IT! SH-E MADE IT! NOW THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL DANGER!]
"""YEAHHHH!""", the crowd went nuts after seeing the successful attempt on the landing
The moment the Porche landed for Kaga and Himiko, the inside of the car was like that of a rollercoaster, everything was just shaking from the impact.
""PHEWWW~"", the two let out a breath of relief after feeling that rush of adrenaline and their hearts thumping to the beat of the engine.
"You had your ice quirk to float us, right~?", Himiko asked playfully.
"Ice quirk? Float? Nope. Physics took the wheel on that one", Kaga said casually and started to press her weight on the gas pedal even more while changing gears quickly to further the lead.
When Himiko heard this all she could think about was how crazy her best friend was, but she didn't mind it one bit and just enjoyed the ride.

[HERE COMES THE PORCHE BARRELING WITH ITS DEATH-DEFYING DRIVER FOR THAT WIN!]
*VOOOOOOM*
And with that, the car passed through the finish line of the final lap, with a Mustang trying to chase after it, but it was still a few dozen meters away.
[GIVE IT UP! FOR MISS DANGERRRRR!], the announcer thinking he already found a proper nickname for the racing debut after witnessing those dangerous turns and adrenaline-pumping jump.
The moment the two girls parked the car and stepped out, they were given a round of applause and were greeted with a thunderous cheer from everyone around.
Soon, the Mustang driver came up and gave the keys and papers to his vehicle with a smile, and said that if he were to lose to anyone he was glad that he lost it to her after witnessing those moves she pulled.
With that out of the way, Kaga was approached by Shiki and asked if she still wanted her Porche modified and she will still be able to keep the stock parts.
Kaga trusting her senses gave the keys to her car and the only thing she said was "No budget, go wild", and as for the papers of the Mustang, it was instantaneously transferred over to her and all she needed to do was write her name.
'Huh...this track must have a connection with someone deep if they have the ability to quickly transfer ownership of a vehicle...but...I ain't complaining', Kaga thought.
Kaga was also told that she should come here tomorrow to come and pick her car up, Kaga who heard this asked why would it be so quick and the only response was, "No budget"
The event ended with the two girls going home in their newly acquired Ford Mustang 1969 Boss 429, sadly, there were no police cars to chase them around in the open road going back home.
And just like a few hours ago, Himiko was dropped somewhere near her house and not at the doorstep, Kaga already had a feeling that wherever this mustang goes wakes up the neighborhood.
When nearing her house too, she exited and stored the vehicle in her storage space and quietly made her way back to her bed...while storing away the sleeping duplicate of hers too.
"Hah...what a fun night that was~", she said as she drifted off to sleep.

When the family was eating their breakfast, the TV that was turned on for its daily news suddenly showed a headline that made Kaga's eyes as wide as saucers.
-Porche On the Loose!-
News Anchor: [A video that has been quickly circulating just this morning is gaining "TRACTION", after a video of a driver performing gravity-defying stunts was recorded and taken from an unknown illegal racing circuit!]
*Vrooom*, the News Station began showing clips of the stunts that the driver pulled, with its drift that was basically kissing walls and finally the leap of faith at the end.
"Damn...I look good there...sh-t...", Kaga who was so mesmerized by her own driving only now realized that she was monologing out loud, and with the keen hearing of her mom and dad they were able to hear her clearly, especially when she is just in front of them.
"haha...hahaha...I'm talented...right?", Kaga joked while her parents were just staring at her.

"Why didn't you bring us with you!? We could have been there as a family to watch!", her mother asked furiously which greatly confused Kaga.
"Y-you're not mad that it's dangerous?", she quickly asked.
"You being kicked by Old Man Jin is more dangerous, and plus, we run faster than those cars! Can you imagine us shouting at you for running at those speeds?", her mom looked at Kaga as if she was looking at a dumb child.
'...That was supposed to be my reason if they were mad...welp...', Kaga thought helplessly.
"So? What did you win?", this time it was her father's turn to ask.
"A Ford Mustang 1969 Boss 429", she answered.
"An ancient classic! Nice win!", her father complimented Kaga on acquiring a car of her own, to her father that car has its own charms compared to the cars of today. It just had that charm.
"Vroom"
"Voom~"
The twins were happily copying the car noises but it seems Eri is pouting, "Onee-chan! You have to drive me around too!", Eri humphed thinking it was unfair that her sister was having all the fun.
"No worries! Onee-chan will take you for a spin now, let's go! Dad, I'll be taking the Mustang for a spin, my Porche is currently in a shop right now...so yeah", Kaga ran off with Eri in tow.
""Take care!"", they both said in unison.
When Kaga was gone, Ayane and Ryu began speaking again, "Is racing really in our genes? Didn't we use to race for fun too?", Ayane asked remembering the hobbies they used to take, this one of the main reasons they gave her a sports car.
"Hmmm...I still think she got those moves from me?", Ryu argued after seeing those moves from her daughter, it has to be from him.
"You and your sloppy drifting, you only won during a drag race!"
The two continued their bickering about who Kaga inherited from who, and this is how Kaga spent her days just before U.A. started.
