Chapter 100: Birthday

A serene smile still on my face I arrived outside the Ganesha familia home.

The ones who tried to attack me following me without even so much attempting to escape.

Since they know exactly what would happen to them if they did.

Instead of just kicking them in their second heads like I did earlier I told them that if they ran while I escorted them to be punished by their familia for their crimes I would snip their things clean off.

And I was deadly serious.

The moment our group arrived at our destination several members of the familia rushed out.

Then five minutes later Shakti, Ardi, and several others came out and joined us.

"Morax, what is this?" Shakti asked me.

When she did I turned to my would-be attackers. "Speak." I said.

"Yes Morax sir!" They shouted in unison.

After they did so they explained the events of how this situation came about. Me adding in my own details when I felt it was necessary.

As the group explained their actions Shakti got an angry expression on her.

Which actually makes her look hotter if I am being honest.

A lot of the other Ganesha familia members also got angry and disgusted looks on their faces as they heard the tale.

While several of them looked at me like I grew a second head.

The men in particular gripped their neither regions and took several steps back from me.

Ardi even gave me a wry look. "Morax, remind me never to truly piss you off."

"Will do my friend." I said. Giving her a thumbs up.

Just as I finished doing so Ganesha arrived and the story was quickly recounted to him.

The moment it was over he looked at the men kneeling on the ground. "Utterly disgraceful. Take them away." He ordered.

His familia members followed his orders.

Once this happened Ganesha turned to me and bowed his head. "Morax, please forgive me for this. To think such members of my familia would act toward you in such a manner, it truly brings me shame."

I shook my head. "Raise your head Ganesha. It's not your fault but there own. I hold no grudge against you or the others for the actions of a few."

Hearing me Ganesha raised his head. "You have my thanks. And rest assured they will be severely punished." He spoke.

I gave him a curt nod in response.

When I did so Ganesha turned to re-enter his home.

Meanwhile Shakti came up to me.

She attempted to speak, but before she could I placed a finger on her lips.

"Didn't you just hear me. I don't blame anyone else for the actions of those guys. Including you." I explained.

A moment passed before Shakti nodded in resignation.

"Good. I'm glad we have an understanding. Well then see you all later." I said.

I then said goodbye to the Ganesha familia once more, finally on me way home for real.

Thinking about Rose and Ryuu as I did so.

I want to see them both.

Wonder what they are up to right now?

(3rd Person: POV)

Standing outside Roses' home Ryuu took a deep breath before knocking.

A moment passed before Rose opened the door.

As she did so her eyes widened for a moment. Since Ryuu had never visited her home before.

Morax has many times.

But never Ryuu or anyone else in her familia.

When she interacted with them she only did so at the guild or in public.

Even though Morax and the rest of them had invited her to join them for parties and such several times.

She always declined.

Rose just isn't much of a joiner.

Even when her guild co-workers go out she hardly ever joins them.

That's just the kind of person she is.

"Ryuu, this is a suprise." Rose said.

"Yes." Ryuu responded.

"Well, would you like to come in?" Rose asked.

"Yes." Ryuu said.

She then walked in and Rose closed the door behind her.

Rose then led Ryuu to the living room and the two sat down across from each other.

A strange and uncomfortable silence settling over the two girls.

Since both of them are women of few words.

Which proves Morax certainly has a type.

Five minutes passed with neither woman saying anything.

'Dammit. Speak up, Lion.' Ryuu thought.

Trying to get over her nerves.

She had gone over this moment in her head with Rose many times. But now that it is actually happening her mind is going blank.

Seeing Ryuu was struggling Rose decided to move things along.

"So Ryuu, what brings you here? Did something happen to Morax?"

"No. He's fine. Actually he's on a date with Shakti." Ryuu spoke.

Rose gave a curt nod in response. "I know. He told me about it the other day." She said.

Since Morax knew good communication was key in a relationship, especially a harem.

And unlike those weak-willed beta harem protagonists from most light novel series he was not going to have his women at each others throats over trivial matters.

That's why he informed Ryuu and Rose about his date with Shakti and had proper discussions with both of them about the matter to see if there were any issues.

There were none.

Which he was grateful for.

But if there was some he would've worked it out.

"I see." Ryuu said. "So um, the reason I am here. Morax birthday is coming up soon and well...a friend suggested to me a gift I could give him that he would enjoy immensely but to give it to him I require your help." She explained.

"I see. And what sort of gift are you going to give him that requires my assistance?" Rose asked.

Hearing this Ryuu got a flushed face but didn't back down.

She quickly told Rose about the gift she wanted to give Morax.

When it was over the red-head werewolf was giving Ryuu a smirk of all things.

"That's quite the gift." Rose said.

"I know. So, will you help me?" Ryuu asked.

Rose didn't say anything for several seconds, until eventually she nodded her head.

"Sure. Let's do it." Rose said.

After she did so she and Ryuu began talking about the gift in detail.

(Morax: POV)

A smile on my face I headed back to the Owl House.

Ryner, Millhiore, and Leonmitchelli by my side.

We just spend a good day dungeon diving and now we're heading home to relax.

Reaching our home I stepped through the front door first.

But the moment I did so several people jumped out and yelled.

"Surprise!"

It took a moment for me to realize what was happening.

It was a party for me.

Looking around I saw the others, the Astraea familia, Rose, Kajin, even Shakti and Ardi.

"This is all for me?" I asked.

"Of course. And we definitely surprised you right?" Ardi asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, you did." Since I didn't see this coming at all.

"So, are you just going to stand there or are you going to enjoy your party birthday boy?" Alise asked me.

"I think the answer is obvious Alise. Let's party!" I shouted.

"Yeah!" Everyone cheered.

Thus the party began in earnest.

We drank, we ate, Echidna got beat up by Rogue when she started groping Kaguya after she got drunk.

Then Kaguya beat her up after she changed targets to Rogue.

It was a happy time all around.

Everyone wore smiles on their faces.

Before I knew it the moon was high in the sky.

When the party finally died down I headed up to my room.

Entering I suddenly heard someone come in behind me and close the door.

Then before I could even turn around a blindfold was placed over my eyes.

But since I knew my friends wouldn't do anything to ever hurt me I just went with it.

Then before I could even think about what was going on my clothes were stripped off and my hands were tied behind my back. I was then pushed on the bed back first.

Once I was the blindfold was removed.

That's when I saw Ryuu and Rose standing before me completely and utterly naked.

Both with flushed faces.

"So, what's this?" I asked.

"Your present." Rose said.

"Us, together." Ryuu told me.

"What?" I questioned in utter shock.

If I am asleep and this is some kind of dream I definitely don't want to wake up.

But if it's not then....

Best birthday gift.

Ever.
