Dealing with pirates was tough business, if you showed them weakness you'd be exploited but Arch already knew this, so he didn't take pity on the man in front of him. Picker was now lying on the floor completely unconscious with his eyes bleeding.
'I mean he chose his eyes.' Arch sighed as he shook his head. He had already chosen this path, although the man in front of him was scum of the earth he couldn't help but feel a bit bad for him.
Grabbing Picker, he held the man in one hand while he held the chest in another. Arch then dashed and jumped out of the tower falling towards the ground, but before his feet could touch the ground a gust of wind suddenly blew shooting Arch forwards as he landed with a running start.
As Arch dashed through the streets he witnessed the countless pirates running around screaming trying to put out the fires, which made things easier for him since they didn't seem to notice him, especially with his running speed in his human-beast form. Arch was too fast for most pirates to even track.
Eventually Arch reached the shore where he saw his ship some distance away. He then continued running jumping off the shore and towards the sea, but instead of falling into it, he seemed to glide along the sea as gusts of wind propelled him towards the boat.
"Creak!"
The ship shuddered as Arch landed onto it, everyone had already gathered and now it was time to make their escape. "So how did it go?" Arch asked, placing Picker down as he tightly held the chest in his other hand.
"We managed to secure 100 million Beri along with the other treasures in the auction." Curt answered, as Cort on the other side was cleaning his gun. Curt and Cort had naturally been the snipers back then.
"Ya, surprisingly it wasn't too hard to secure that devil fruit." William said as he jugged down some wine, everyone here had a bone to pick with Lawless so considering they also made a profit it was pretty decent.
"I see why people become pirates now." Bertram joked his fat jiggling as he laughed. Ugo on the other hand was pretty quiet, seemingly in a dilemma. Seeing this Arch shook his head and walked towards him.
Reaching out his hand Arch locked eyes with Ugo. "I understand how you're feeling Ugo, but it was simply either us or them. With the state of Tigra as it is this was the easiest and most sure fire option available." Arch explained before pausing.
"Regardless, after what's been happening these past few years I have no sympathy for pirates." Arch finished, as he continued to hold out his hand. After a few minutes Ugo eventually took it and bowed. "I understand, your Majesty." Ugo said solemnly.
Arch just smiled and took his hand back. "Now I know you all want to celebrate and I do too, but first we have to set sail towards Plow Island." Arch commanded as his expression once again became serious.
Everyday they delayed was another life lost, and as King he couldn't allow that, when he ascended the throne he had taken responsibility for the entire Kingdom so naturally he was responsible for all those who lived within the Kingdom.
Hearing this Bertram then directed the ship towards Plow Island, as a Kingdom on the Grand Line Tigria had collected quite a number of Eternal Log Poses throughout the years including one to Plow Island.
The Island itself wasn't anything special, but the people who lived there were a different story. The citizens of Plow Island were all exclusively farmers, and they best were the best in the business, because of this Plow Island was not only defended heavily by the Marines but also by the surrounding Kingdoms, since those that didn't have great agricultural skills would typically procure their food from Plow Island.
Soon the ship reached Plow Island and much faster than they expected, in simply a few hours they had arrived. 'It seems using the wind to increase the speed of the ship is a pretty good application.' Arch pondered as they neared the island.
"Stop the ship and turn back to Tigria." Arch commanded, as the Expedition Team looked at him confused. "Its pretty simple, this guy right here is a liability, and if we're seen together like this we could get into quite a bit of trouble, I'll handle the rest myself." Arch explained before looking back at them once more.
He then told them to make sure Picker couldn't use his devil fruit ability, and that Alonso would be able to provide them seastone cuffs so as to make sure he was completely secured. For now they just had the man sit in a big tub of seawater which seemed to be doing the trick.
Arch then jumped off the boat and ran towards Plow Island, taking off his mask and coat in the process, he didn't need any evidence linking him with what just happened at Lawless. About 3 minutes later Arch made it onto the port of Plow Island, it was still quite early in the morning so not many people were around but Arch's appearance still made a disturbance.
Luckily Arch had taken off his transformation as he landed or else it would have been much more troublesome then it was at this point in time. "Ahem, I am looking for an Administrator, do any of you happen to know where I can find one?" Arch asked.
On Plow Island the Administrators handled the transactions involving large convoys and Arch required quite the shipment. Eventually someone led him to an Administrator. He was quite an old man, but he seemed to have quite a sharp eye.
"You are?" The Administrator asked, as he locked eyes with Arch. Typically it was only Kings and the like who required the attention of Administrators. "I am Archelaus Tigra the King of Tigria." Arch answered as he sat down in front of the man.
They were currently sitting within the Administrator's office, and it was quite beautiful at least in Arch's opinion. "I see, Tigria so you've finally procured enough funds?" He questioned yet again, hearing this Arch smiled.
Immediately Arch took out 100 million Beri which he had tied up beforehand. "This should be enough to pay back our debt, I hope this is satisfactory." Arch said before placing another 20 million Beri on the table and sliding it towards the man.
Understanding Arch's intention the man simply nodded, paying back a bit extra was always a good move when wanting to improve relationships and Arch wasn't poor at this moment.
"Besides that, I would also like to purchase a convoy of food. I need 100 million Beri worth of Lettuce Seeds, 100 Million Beri worth of Apple Seeds, 100 Million Beri worth of Pumpkin Seeds, and finally I need 200 Million Beri worth of mixed foods, just put what you think is the most well balanced and nutritious, I trust that this can be done?" Arch asked, he thought this might be a bit demanding but the Administrator simply chuckled.
"We deal with Kingdoms much larger than yours quite regularly, this is actually easy to fulfill. Your order will be ready by the afternoon, someone will come and notify you when the convoy is ready to leave. Also after the successful delivery you'll need to pay another 50 million, I hope that you can afford this?" The Administrator explained, but Arch was no pushover he immediately grabbed another 500 million Beri and placed it on the table.
"Then see you later." Arch said before leaving, he was trying his best not to show a pained expression on his face. 'I've spent a total of 620 Million Beri just like that, and I need to spend another 50 million after, that's already more than half of everything we just made.' He sighed as he exited the building.
