Well, Dialday did not bring any kind of surprise with it, and the weekend was rather calm as well. I spent about half of Kyoday and Grouday alternating between working on some of the custom moves that a few of my Pokemon were trying to develop as well as supervising their training, while the second half of the days was just us spending time together.
The next week was a rather short one, or to be more specific, my work week was quite short. The month ended on Mewday, and the new month was a break month for me, so after clocking out on Mewday, I was on vacation for the rest of the month.
In fact, the last day of the new month fell on Palkiday, meaning that Dialday, the day after, was theoretically a workday, but James said that Dialday counted as a bridge day, so I only had to come back on the following Arcday, which was the 4th of the 26th month.
What this meant, was that I was now on vacation for a bit more than a month. However, I did not plan to go to Hope Town just yet. I was planning to stay in Pallet City for the rest of the week, and only travel to Hope Town on time for breakfast on Arcday next week.
Ultimately, I would say that I spent my time until Arcday quite fruitfully. I chose to focus on my personal training after breakfast right until lunch. My main focus during this period was my aura training.
I was repeating the spinning method I used with my psionic energy in hopes of a repeat performance. While I was doing that, I had to stop my third thought stream from doing the psionic energy conversion job since I did not want to risk any distractions or energy clashes happening during the moment my aura liquified for the first time.
My experience with my psionic breakthrough showed that accidents could happen, so I did not want to risk one where two energy types clashed. Though that did not stop me from using a Gravity Stone to temper my body while I was "meditating".
The time after lunch and before dinner was spent working with my Pokemon on their training, and the period after dinner, we spent relaxing in all kinds of ways. As I said, I felt that the week went great, and on Grouday during my routine status check-up, I saw that Bruce/Zubat had finished his second round of limit-breaking, which was a wonderful way to close the week.
The next morning I left my dorm at 8 a.m and made my way back home. I used my keys to enter our house since I was not absolutely sure whether my parents were up or not, but I heard noises coming from the kitchen, which I was 99.99% sure was caused by Mom.
I ended up being right since I saw her after I made my way to the kitchen. She was busy preparing breakfast so she only noticed me when I stepped into her domain/the kitchen. She, metaphorically, dropped what she was doing and rushed up to me to hug me when she heard/saw me enter the kitchen.
After our little greeting, I helped her prepare breakfast while we talked about all kinds of stuff. Dad was happy to see me once he came down for breakfast as well, and before I knew it, the whole week passed. I did kind off neglect my personal training during this week in favor of spending time with my parents, but that was going to stop now.
I told my parents that I would resume my private training starting this week. I was going to continue to spend the period between lunch and dinner training my Pokemon and leave the time after dinner for my parents.
Mom and Dad were fine with that arrangement. In their words, they were happy just being able to see me every day and they knew that I had a lot of stuff to do. Arcday went just fine, but Mewday gave me a pleasant surprise.
I was working with Tatsumaki/Alakazam on Gravity Crush, which was an original move we were trying to develop, and she actually managed to properly use the move in the manner we wanted it to work. The concept of Gravity Crush was actually pretty simple, even if the implementation was anything but simple.
Gravity Crush focused the increase in gravity by the move Gravity to a small area/circle. Obviously, the gravity in that small area was raised to the absolute maximum she could manage while focusing on such a limited space.
Frankly, from what happened to our test dummy, the move seemed a bit too lethal to use in a regular battle against regular or weaker opponents unless we dialed down the gravity increase a bit. However, I could see her using the move as a trump card against stronger opponents, whether that be in life-or-death battles or the arena.
I could not wait to see how strong the move could become once she raised her mastery over it. I just checked and it officially appeared in her move section at novice mastery.
The next time I had such a successful moment was on Kyoday when Thor/Raichu managed to finally get down the combo move we had been working on for the last month or so. We called the move Ion Tail because I thought it was a clever name since the move was a combination of Iron Tail and Discharge.
Thor focused all the electric energy usually released by Discharge into his tail while simultaneously using Iron Tail. It kind of caused his tail to look like a yellow lightsaber-ish axe, due to the lightning bolt-shaped end, and it even released a slight humming noise like one.
The move was incredibly strong and admittedly rather dangerous, but that was to be expected. I'd objectively rank it as his strongest physical move, or rather it would be once he raised its mastery since Volt Tackle currently held that title, and I was pretty sure it would keep that title until Thor managed to raise Ion Tail to advanced mastery. A mastered Volt Tackle was just that strong.
Anyway, the new week started on Arcday and I was considering whether I should go back to Pallet City or not. I'd already been in Hope Town for two weeks now, and I only had two more weeks left of my break. In the end, I decided to stay for another week and only go back to Pallet City for the fifth/final week of my break.
Most of the week passed normally, but I ended up getting a big surprise on Kyoday during my personal training session. I actually ended up successfully condensing my first drop of liquid aura, and thanks to my previous experience I managed to keep the energy cyclone under enough control to keep it from spilling out of my aurascape.
The moment I broke through to Tier 3 Third-Class as an Aura User, I felt my body heat up a lot for a while, while it went through the prominent biological upgrade that came with reaching Tier 3 through the aura path. Frankly, it felt as if my blood was starting to boil, but I ignored it as much as I could while focusing on my breathing since I knew why this was happening and that it was definitely worth it.
Not only were my physical capabilities, such as strength, speed, endurance, and reaction speed going to receive a significant boost, but my regeneration was also undergoing an upgrade, along with my immunity system.
The immunity upgrade was a bit vague, but my regeneration would allow me to quickly heal from more serious wounds, such as stab wounds or broken bones, compared to the minor wounds it covered before. It naturally still covered the fatigue aspect which meant I would be able to keep going for longer than I would be capable of without the increased regeneration.
It took nearly 10 minutes for my body to cool down, which signaled that the body upgrade was finally over. I had noticed that Utopia had not gone through an expansion/upgrade due to my advancement, so it seemed that I would have to wait until my energy had been completely converted into a liquid state for an update to happen.
I filed that away and began to stretch my body to loosen it up after the previous painful experience and while I was doing that I thought about the two additional changes I knew came with reaching Tier 3 Third-Class.
I unlocked the ability to actively heal others, though that was restricted to fatigue for now. Still, it was better than nothing and I knew that it would get upgraded later on, becoming a proper healing skill. The new ability was linked to the second change, which was the upgrade to my aura manipulation.
I was, or rather should now be capable of manifesting my aura outside my body without it having to stay in contact with me. I naturally directly chose to test that bit as soon as I was done stretching. Obviously, a proper Aura Sphere was the first thing I chose to condense now that I was able to properly manifest my aura outside my body.
I excitedly watched as a ball of aura began to form above my outstretched hand and it was great to see it hover there without actually touching my hand. I sent it flying towards an earth pillar I raised and watched as it flew through the air without dissipating. The Aura Sphere crashed into the pillar and successfully destroyed it much to my satisfaction.
I was understandably very happy after having finally used the signature move of all Aura Users, or at least their most famous move. Mom and Dad got attracted by the noise I made and came over to see what I was doing. They were naturally quite happy when I shared the good news with them and we threw a small celebration to celebrate my breakthrough.
I left any further tests to the next week once I was alone and spent nearly the whole Grouday with my parents instead. Mom certainly appreciated my gesture and I was sure Dad did as well even if he did not verbalize it as Mom did.
Anyway, on Arcday, I left for Pallet City right after breakfast, and the first thing I did after coming back to my dorm was to clean up the room before entering Utopia to finally start the tests on my new/upgraded physical abilities.
Usually, I was against self-harm, but there was no real other way to test my improved regeneration, so I had to do it. I first made a small cut and watched as it mended within a few seconds. Less than 10 seconds later not even a hint of the cut I made could be seen.
However, while that was certainly faster than before, it was still within the capabilities of my previous regeneration. So, I took the knife, took a breath, and stabbed it into the back of my other hand. The knife went cleanly through until the hilt touched my skin. I pulled it out and closely observed the wound while it began to heal.
It took quite a bit longer to heal than the cut did, about a minute compared to the few seconds it took to heal the cut. Still, it made sense since there was more to heal. The wound was more complex than the cut had been after all. I decided that this was enough and that there was no reason for any further self-mutilating tests, so I moved on to the next test.
I pulled out my weights and directly began from my previous maximum, before quickly moving on to a heavier one after my previous maximum felt rather light. I kept moving until I determined my new maximum which was a few kilos above 6500 kg. The breakthrough had given me a pretty good instant gain, which helped me go from 2384 kg to 6.5 tonnes.
I naturally did the same test in my aura-boosted state and my new limit in that state was 24.017 kg, which was really impressive, especially since I knew that both numbers would increase by a decent amount once I began training until I once again came closer to my current weight ceiling.
Regardless, I moved on and began testing the maximum weight I could lift in a semi-relaxed state. More specifically, the weight I could carry while walking at a regular pace for at least 30 minutes. The boost here was pretty good as well. I went from about 440 kg to around 1600 kg in my regular state, and from 1260+ kg to about 3700 kg in my boosted state.
Finally, I tested my maximum easy lift capacity, which was the weight I could carry around for hours while walking at a regular pace. It was around 500 kg in my regular state and about 1080 kg in my boosted state. I had to stop here since these tests took a long time, so the speed tests were left for tomorrow.
The next day I spent the whole day testing my speed. My new unboosted maximum speed was really close to 310 km/h and my new boosted maximum was about 660 km/h. I managed to keep up those speeds for close to 19 minutes. At least for now, that was the case. Just like with my strength, I was confident of raising it by a decent amount until I came close to my new capability ceiling.
Finally, the part that took the rest of the day, testing my new comfortable speed. My new comfortable pace was 125 km/h in an unboosted state and 195 km/h in a boosted state, both of which I was able to keep up for 6 hours and a few minutes.
