Sorry, I couldn't protect you

Eliott, for his part, did not return to the party. After taking Alex, he headed straight home while asking his doctor to join him there. He was a little worried about Alex because she was still unconscious and looking so lifeless he was afraid she was in a more serious state. To be sure, he wanted his doctor to cheque her out as soon as possible. He could guess what kind of drug she had been given, and he was thankful that it didn't start affecting her. To get rid of the drug and find out if she had any side effects, he wanted her to see a doctor as soon as possible. 

He hurried to arrive home as soon as possible. While he waited for the doctor, he laid Alex on his bed and began to wipe the sweat from her forehead, as it seemed she had a fever.
