19. Complete Annihilation.

As the mist cleared the only thing that could be seen in front of the village were some small holes in the ground and splashes of blood covering parts of the grass.

"You mentioned some kind of chakra cannon?" Valerie says.

"Yes, from my Asura path." I point towards the figure.

The bare arm makes a slight metallic noise as the hand slides away revealing a glowing blue barrel in the arm.

*Whirrrr.* *PEOOOOOOW*

It only takes a second for the cannon to charge up before firing a massive blue beam of chakra.

It hits the crude gate center mass but keeps going before smashing Into the ground in the center of the village.

There is silence for a second before a massive explosion rocks the villages foundation. The mud huts are ripped from the ground by the shockwaves and goblins are sent flying in bits and pieces.

All that remains of the village after the dust settles is a smoking red hot crater.

"Ah! My bad, I must have overcharged the cannon. This was my first time using it." I admit sheepishly.

"Yeah, that's a bit overkill. We should probably leave so that nobody comes by to check what happened. Also don't use that in the city." Valerie says as I gather the paths and we quickly flee.

"I'm kind of bummed out that I didnt get to experiment more with my abilities. But I'm glad I did so well with the stealth." I admit.

"That's a pretty scary ability when even I couldn't sense you." Valerie says. "That chakra cannon of yours seems a bit worse though."

"Its rather intensive for chakra drain. Next time I'll try out the senbon cannon or shock nets. All of its pieces are interchangeable. Luckily it has chakra batteries it uses for storage so it can fire up to 6 cannon shots." The Asura path takes off its vest showing all different types of sealed areas. There is a hissing noise as the left pectorial opens up showing 6 batteries embedded in charging slots. Each battery has blue chakra liquid sloshing around inside besides one which is slowly being refilled.

"What's in the other slots?" Valerie asks curiously.

The right pectorial opens showing a Tank with purple liquid flowing inside while the stomach opens revealing mesh covered wire with a nasty harpoon tip.

"Poison for weapons, and a harpoon that can be reeled in and fired. The knees contain various gas canisters that can launch poison smoke or regular smoke, the mouth has a hidden flame thrower, as for the other arm it has a senbon cannon with 1000 sanborn that can be poisoned. The shoulders open up for explosive missiles, and the feet has boosters that run off chakra for short bursts of speed or flight. The spine and tailbone have been replaced with a large chakra chain blade which is flexible and dangerous kind of like a scorpion. As for the thighs, they hold arm replacements for Drills and shock nets which can be changed out." The thing is damn near fully a puppet.

The vest is put back on after the chest cavity is closed.

"I plan to make more modifications however I've just been focused on my training. I'll probably look into it now." It doesnt take much, just a quick trip into the hell kings mouth to change out parts.

"Well if you want to test new weapons It would probably be faster to do it in the dungeon, I dont have to worry about you getting harmed on the first couple of floors with your combat capabilities." I guess I finally got the go ahead to enter the dungeon. I feel like I'm pretty over prepared, but I'm in no hurry.

"Its fine for now I want to test a couple of things with the Goblin corpses I got. I was planning to take one alive as well but then you know.." I laugh. "I should be able to make the bodies into summons however I dont think they will be able to grow, if I had living bodies they would be able to grow and learn."

"I suppose that is better than nothing." Valerie says as we see the city walls.

Animal splits off to go wait in line with Valerie to pay the fees. Then once they reach the mansion we are summoned. Saves a bit of money.

"Well let's see how the summons work." I tell her as the hell king is quickly summoned.

A goblin corpse is deposited into it mouth and or closes before crunching noises are heard.

A second later a fully healed goblin is spit out. I can also see through its eyes however I dont control the body. I can give it basic mental commands which it follows, however for the most part it keeps its personality which is rather dumb.

"Yeah that's a waste of a good summon. Far too stupid and weak to really invest in." Its basically just a dumb goblin with no growth potential. "It doesnt have any special abilities that are useful either." I comment.

I toss the scrawny green skinned demon back into the hell king and dissolve the summon. It's not that I have limited summon spaces, it's just that it's far too weak and dumb to be of any real use.

"Yeah you could get much better summons deeper in the dungeon, no need to waste resources on goblins. Atleast dead goblins." Valerie agrees. "Anyway I need to go report to the guild about the goblin village extermination so I'll be back in a bit."

She affectionately rubs my head before leaving towards the guild to file a report. No one would asks questions if she admitted to doing it because she could destroy the village easily.

Meanwhile I start tossing the dead bodies of goblins into the hell king and harvesting the monster cores. No idea what to do with them so I'll just toss them into the gate for now.
