Well, from that night onward, Ocean's parents and sisters started to stay at the house. Since all the bedrooms were on the same floor of the house, that meant that they were scattered around the second floor of the house. And, conveniently enough, Deliah and Julie ended up taking the rooms that were on either side of ours.

I know that they did that on purpose. They wanted to make sure that Ocean and I were abiding by their rules. Well, of course we would be. It wasn't polite to be doing that when you have houseguests. Specifically, when you have houseguests that would be staying so close to your room.

Ben and Ryan didn't count as house guests. They were family to us now and they lived here. And I admit that we have been a little naughty in the past when my parents weren't home, but we were usually pretty well behaved when they were here. So, in all honesty, no one had anything to worry about even if they hadn't given us the rule.
