The chattering crowd, the hoarding students, the advising parents all this seemed new to Rin even though she went through the same routine 3 times. But this time it seemed different because this was College!.

Finally after slaving away for 14 years she was finally stepping into this new exciting and nerve-wracking journey.

Rin stood in a less crowded area, texting her Best friend Mia asking where she was. Glancing around and watching for seniors. She was scared and nervous even though she kept a calm, cool and relaxed demeanor outside.

After chucking in another piece of Alpenliebe in her mouth to calm her nerves she texted Mia to hurry-up before they get caught by the Seniors for being late for the Freshman Orientation.

"Rinnie, calm down, I am here." shouted a gorgeous woman strutting like a supermodel.

Mia Tovino, half-Japanese and half American, Cheerful and peppy Fashionista, Bestfriends with Rin ever since she was born.

"Mia, do you wanna die?" threatened Rin when she noticed a few upperclassmen looking at them and started murmuring.

This is what Rin was scared of -being the center of attraction, also her cousin Zaden's warning of how upperclassmen chose freshmen who tried to get attention during hazing made her more nervous. But Mia was the opposite, she had an innate talent of getting everyone's attention wherever she went.

"If I get picked up during Hazing ceremony , Mimi you are dead." deadpanned Rin.

"Rin Ferit, look at your face. You are a walking attraction, your Hazel eyes are going to drown boys like desert quicksand. " said Mia rolling her eyes.

"Seriously, I get it you are a Geography student but that analogy was weird." replied Rin while walking towards the Public Auditorium for freshmen welcoming speech.

Rin Ferit was a Turkish, born and bought up in the US. She had inherited the best features from both her Parents making her a stunning beauty. But despite all these she was very introverted. If it wasn't for her resemblance to her parents people would have suspected that she was adopted because she totally missed out from receiving the extrovert genes from her parents.

Rin and Mia entered the Public Auditorium and finally found free seats in the freshmen seating area. Rin took out more Alpenliebes from her pocket and handed over some to Mia discreetly.

"Do you have some gums? " asked Mia while popping a piece into her mouth. "No, its in my luggage." said Rin.

After all the freshmen were seated, the Dean and other faculty heads entered the stage and the Orientation formally began. Rin was seated in the end seat of the first seating section, a few feet behind her was one of the doors to enter the auditorium. As Mia started introducing herself to people beside and in front of her Rin just sat simply staring at the stage and occasionally smiling at people when Mia mentioned her. As the Principal started going on and about the Achievements of the college and their famous Alumnus, Rin scrolled down through her Instagram as she was bored, Opening the official page of AU.

Aslan University, an elite university in Switzerland. Founded in 1920 by the Elijah Aslan, a scholar of the Aslan Family - originally a Royal family now a well-known Founder family after the formation of the world Federation in 1945. A Prestigious University who has produced well-known proteges in all sectors of the the society. Majority of their Alumnus are top cream of the pie. The massive donations have helped in creating a world class University with the best of best resources. AU is a world of its own with buildings designed in both the Modern and Traditional style. The campus is an impeccable fusion of times in its best. Valen city where the AU is located is one of the most economically rich city in the world.

Ever since she saw picture of AU when she was five, Rin had decided that this was her Future. Mia along with Rin fell in love with AU campus over time. But getting into AU was hard. Admissions were based truly on the entrance exams provided by the campus after thorough Screening, Interviews and so on. Nobody could buy a seat in AU, even if you are a royalty, Heir of MNC's or children of World leaders. If you fail the test then you are out. They choose you on the basis of your Academic excellence and merits in co-curricular activities to write the entrance tests. She and Mia were ecstatic and elated when they knew they got in. Their parents though sad their children were going far away, was so excited that they began to call 8-generations of their family to announce their children's admissions.

Thinking of her Parents, Rin couldn't help but smile, opening her Inbox she replied to her parents messages. She couldn't help but chuckle when she saw her brother's message describing how her parents were flaunting and praising her in the family group. He also mentioned to send her pics of his "Future School." Mia glanced into Rin's phone and started smiling when she saw the messages and showed her phone revealing similar messages from her Parents.

Smiling to each other Mia held Rin's hands and spread the familiar warmth into her palms indicating that she would always be by her side in the coming new and exciting journey.

As the speech went on, the door behind Rin opened and a few footsteps and murmurings were heard. It seemed like they were upperclassmen because no freshmen would dare to come late for orientation programs. A Few freshmen turned around curiously to see who was behind.

"Oh, look at the kids. How cute!!" one of them said.

"Freshies if you wanna live long, turn your heads around like good children." another piped.

Rin didn't want to attract any trouble so she didn't turn back. Thank god for her less-curiosity trait she thought, Unlike Mia who was curious about every single thing and wanted to know everth..... 'shit Mia don't turn around, curiosity killed the cat' thought Rin while she turned to her side to stop Mia.

But she was too late Mia had already staring at the guys standing behind them. "Stop looking, turn around." Rin whispered softly while pulling Mia to face forward. Mia turned around and as if in a trance and uttered "The guy in the Hoodie is so HOT! damn." Rin covered Mia's mouth before she could spew anymore nonsense and begged her with her eyes to shut up. Mia out of her trance smiled apologetically and mouthed sorry. 'She is gonna get me killed someday, with her mouth' thought Rin before she sat properly in her seat and trying to channel her inner talent of camouflage like chameleon.

"That girl is a beauty, Man we have a lot of good looking girls this year." Rin could hear them talking about Mia and other people.

"Shut it and take your places before Mr. Holden gets your asses." Ordered a husky voice. The bunch got quite and stood behind each seat of the last row. The voice piqued a lot of curiosity but the will for survival overpowered the curiosity.

Rin who was listening to the speech suddenly felt a hot breath tickling her shoulders "Hey White hoodie, would you mind sharing your snacks" said the husky voice pointing towards the pack of alpenliebe on her lap. Rin with speed challenging Ninjas tossed the pack of Candies into the hands front of her without looking up.

"Is she Ninja or something?" whispered a guy. Mia couldn't help but stifle her laughter while Rin covered her face embarrassed. As Rin started questioning her life choices and direct her full concentration to the still ongoing speech she heard the same husky voice muttering "Cute."
