MingMing is Strange

Ye Delun discreetly looked around him and spotted several girls that watched him run into the door. A couple of them gave him weird looks. Ye Delun only awkwardly waved at them through the blanket.

The elevator door slid open and the group strolled in. And as much as he didn't want to, the guidelines urged him to enter. Pleasantly cute background music played as he stood in the middle of the crowded elevator. Sweat dripped off his face and the tips of his ears felt like they were on fire. All of the girls were wearing close to nothing, he felt like he was a disgusting pervert trying to catch a look at them. How would his mother react if she heard of this? Would his father still see him as a son? Thoughts like those flew through his mind.

"Hahaha, me too! And then he just died! Like, what the fuck? Couldn't he have at least tried a little harder? I tried so hard to get through his route just for him to die." A random girl to the side of him said. She seemed to be talking about her own experience with her game.

"Lol, what? That's the ending you got? What a waste." Another woman he couldn't see responded.

"Yeah, but I was finally able to get enough coins to buy this cute skirt~" She fanned out the clothing material and did a little twist. Ye Delun could only see her toes.

"Good, because girl you're looking so hot in that, even without a top."

"Right~ I don't even think I need to get a top, it looks so good just in my bra."

"..." Ye Delun felt uncomfortable. He wondered if girls were always this comfortable with each other...

But it's not like he could say anything, because if it wasn't girls but a bunch of guys, then there would be no reason for Ye Delun to hide.

Although he would be jealous of their muscle mass...

And they would have probably teased him for his lack of it...

Ye Delun let out a breath of relief once a ding resonated throughout the small room. The doors slowly slid open and Ye Delun rushed out without looking back. He crossed down what seemed to be a metal hallway that led him to dirt ground.

His toes dug in the dirt as he continued on moving. Voices got louder and Ye Delun heard them pass as he ran. Something extremely appetizing in the air entered his nostrils and made him salivate. He took a quick peek through the blanket and a completely different scenery met his eyes. Bright neon lights displaying a multitude of different phrases. Stands with large blinking arrows attached to nothing pointed towards their front doors and paper fliers flew like butterflies in the spring. The sight reminded him of a marketplace at night. Or perhaps even a festival. Everything seemed a lot more cyberpunk.... and cute. That, or maybe he was in some kind of fever dream.

The crowd was loud and filled with girls. Some wore close to nothing like the girls in the elevator. While some wore strange exaggerated outfits. From cute witches to adorable cat costumes. Large impractical ball gowns to normal comfortable clothing. Most of them though, sported mixed matched outfits that looked like they had mistaken the lost and found for their dresser.

His eyes caught onto the horizon and saw the various colored night sky. The deep violet, midnight blue, and empty black layered over each other perfectly. But the holes in the layers took shape and it looked like a child had gotten into their mother's makeup and decided to paint the sky with the powder brush. The sprinkled stars were like flashlights trying to speak with him. They shimmered and glistened, yet he wasn't able to understand what they were trying to say. But what surprised him the most was the large moon, bigger than he could imagine. It was too close for comfort and looked like it would crush the strange world he was in The picturistic sight would have brought tears to an astrometer's eyes.

'Where exactly am I?' Ye Delun wondered.

"Hey stranger!" a voice said. He looked to the side and saw an odd woman. Or maybe he should say a young girl. She was dressed as a fairy, with glittered wings on her back. She had a pretty white face with an exaggerated amount of pink blush covering her cheeks. Her mouth opened up and down like a nutcracker and her black eyes seemed strangely dead. Strings connected to her joints raised to the air above her and attached to handles that defied gravity. "You look lost! Do you need a guide to show you around?" Her mouth snapped up and down and her arms moved in strange ways.

"Uh, yeah, I guess I'm new here." He answered. He lowered the blanket slightly and took a quick glance at the girl's body. He was relieved to see that she was wearing a full set of clothing. A pink fluffy dress, not that Ye Delun expected anything less. It was covered in glitter and made the already overly bright place look even brighter. He also noted that her feet floated a couple of feet off the ground.

"Of course! That's what MingMing expected!" She got closer to Ye Delun and removed the rest of the blanket from his face. Her wide black eyes scanned his face and her puppet-like mouth dropped open.

"Name: Ye Delun

Gender: Male

Level: 0

Coins: 0

Gems: 5

Stories Completed: N/A

Started Stories: Nightmare Manor"

The audio came from her open mouth. It sounded like her, but the emotionlessness that drenched it ruined her human-like demeanor. Ye Delun watched as her face deformed. The sides of her puppet mouth cracked and stretched into a wide toothy smile. "Welcome, Ye Delun! If you don't have a guide, would you mind if MingMing were to guide you around?"

"Oh, not at all. Thank you." He said. 'It would help a lot if I were to have someone help me.' He thought as he looked at the animatronic-like creature. 'I'm grateful someone's willing to help.'

"But before we walk around, can I get something to cover myself?" He politely asked. "I don't feel comfortable not wearing anything."

MingMing looked up and down at his pathetic figure. From his messy dark hair to his large dark eyes. To the thin starter blanket that all beginners start with. She studied his skinny pale legs and his plain black boxers. The blanket didn't cover much, but with his small stature and feminine face, it was easy to mistake him as a female.

"To gain accessories, get coins to test your luck with 'Clothing Gacha'!" Or you could get enough coins and you can buy clothes with our shop!" She said as her head tilted to the side. Her wide black doll eyes seemed to look into his soul as her smile widened even further.
