Bk 3: Ch– 181 Baseh the Clown(pt-2)

Eisen waved his hand to grab his attention. Baseh understood the dire situation he was in. He could feel the sticky, dried blood on his body as he tried to breathe hard.

He coughed before replying. “Why did you keep me alive? Are you trying to play another trick on me?”

Eisen rubbed his chin. “I did not play any trick on you. You let yourself fall into one.”

“Hah! Lies! All the Empire’s people lie through their teeth, and you are no different. If you think you can bring out information from my mouth with your sweet voice, then you are wrong. I will not reveal anything. You might as well slit my throat.” Baseh panted as he replied.

His eyes contained hatred for Eisen.

“I wish to be nice, but somehow, the captives would rather make it tough.” Eisen sighed and motioned to the guards standing on his side.

“I will not apologize for the pain,” Eisen said with a straight face.
