Maria took a step back and averted her gaze. "I- I'm sorry. B- But. S- Someone is looking for you, Ma'am."

Reign's brows furrowed then, she stood up. "Who is it?"

"I- It's a detective."

Reign looked in Jowanna and Amber's direction. "So. You already gave that to him, huh?"

Jowanna just averted her gaze and weep. Maria could see how terrible their situation was. Her chest tightened to think that she could do nothing to help them. Apologies, but, she couldn't bring herself to take the risk. She had a family too.

Reign looked again at Maria and made a straight face. "Clean Amber's blood."

After she said that, Reign walked toward the door and opened it. Harry, together with the other two policemen, greeted her at the entrance.

"What brought you here, detective?" Reign calmly said, straight to his eyes.

Harry couldn't find any expression on her face, even a glimpse of anything unusual to her action, none. "I am looking for Amber Ricks. Is she here?"
