(Ch4) Security

Greg and Sterling were watching Ivan's reactions to what they just said, which was standing still and having a blank face. When suddenly, Ivan started being consumed in a bright light, and with a bang, Ivan disappeared, leaving no trace behind. Despite this, Greg and Sterling weren't surprised or concerned, and in fact interested in how Ivan disappeared, "he'll be back in 1 minute if he is able to dodge security for long enough," said Sterling while walking out of the room.

Ivan poked around the room he was in. It seemed to be a greenhouse. The thing that surprised Ivan though was that instead of normal plants, the plants here were weird looking and acted strange. Some plants resembled normal plants, like roses or daisies, but don't let that fool you, it had the power to suck the vitality out of you, leaving you a husk. Ivan saw this happen to a mouse that got to close to the roses, and made a mental note to avoid this plant at all costs.

Some of the other plants had unordinary powers, like the tree that can strangle any animal that gets near it, and a cactus that can shoot it's thorns out in a radius. After seeing many animals being killed, Ivan took a flower that heals you if you eat one of it's petals, which seemed useful if he gets badly hurt.

Ivan left the greenhouse soon after, he didn't want to die. When Ivan left the room, he found a hallway going in three directions, left, right, and forward. Ivan chose to walk towards the left, because he felt it was pulling him towards it.

Ivan found a room after walking for a while. When Ivan opened the door, he looked inside and found a dark room, with what looked like a doorway in the middle. The doorway had a mystical feel to it, with vines wrapping around. Ivan took a step forward, but was hit by something on the pressure point of his neck, knocking Ivan out.

Ivan woke up with a jump, the last thing he remembered was the mystic doorway that seemed to be calling out to him. Ivan was still adjusting to being knocked out again. When there was a bam and four figure walked into the room. Two of them were Greg and Sterling, the other two wore what seemed to be clothing used by plague doctors, bird beak masks and all the like.

"Ivan, it seems security finally caught you," said Greg happily, " I was so worried they would kill you," Ivan confused, finally put two and two together. The two plague doctors were the security guards and he seemed to be in the room he first woke up in, but this time on the chair, handcuffed with arm restraints that had weird letters on it, the same as the book he read before.

Greg and Sterling asked Ivan many different types of questions. From how he teleported to the greenhouse, to what drew him to the doorway he saw before the security guards knocked him out and brought him back.

For the first question Ivan answered, "my mind went blank and I suddenly appeared in the greenhouse," and for the second question Ivan answered, "I felt it calling to me, that's it." Greg and Sterling looked unconvinced, but went along with it as it wasn't that important.

"Well, you can look around the facility, we have a library, a gym, and other things you can look at." Said Greg with a cheerful voice, "oh yeah, you will have the security guards come along with you." Said Greg, looking at Ivan with a smile.

After Greg and Sterling left, Ivan walked out into the hallway. Ivan first went to the right and finds a sign he couldn't read, so he opened the door and found the gymnasium Greg was talking about.
