04: Plans, maybe.

Astérie Enychta, or Eny for friends, sighed and got up from the ground. He no longer was starving as before, after eating two Hellhounds with the size of medium-sized cars and one with the size of a small truck, he could say he was satisfied for the moment. Eny was not sure if these monsters that were eaten by him would come back like other monsters normally do, but if they do they will come back pissed... Or scared for life, after all, being eaten alive is not what someone wants to go through.

His Hellhound servant was shocked to see his master devour three huge Hellhounds, bigger than him, this made him completely scared for his life to the point that he did not dare to even speak when Eny was tearing the flesh and bone out of the Hellhounds.

When he was done though, he approached and said: "Master... Where would we be going to now?" Eny snorted for a second, he in no way trusted this Hellhound but he is useful, and his mother ordered him to follow his instructions to the best of his abilities, or so he hopes. "Hm... Can't keep calling you Hellhound all the time." Eny said, looking at the Hellhound, he smiled to himself and said: "So from now on, your name will be Granade." Grenade, the new named Hellhound began to wag his tail without knowing why Eny gave him this name. What is a Grenade used for? Exactly, killing! When you take a pin off of a grenade and throws it towards an enemy, the grenade is destroyed along with the enemy, the grenade is only something to be used and destroyed, taking the enemy down with it. An item, something that can only be used.

You may think that Eny is an asshole, and he is. Never in this novel was stated that he is a good person, he is a bad person, or at least he considers himself a bad person that doesn't trust anyone and would use others for his benefits and to survive. And that's when Grenade comes in, given this name Eny associates him with a grenade, he associates him with something that can only be used and not loved, so when he decides to get rid of him he won't feel as bad because he won't be that attached. Grenade, however, was feeling happy he got a name from his master, his tail was wagging fast as it had a very happy dog expression on his face.

"Tell me, Grenade, where is the safest place you can think of?" Eny asked, he wanted to hear this dog's opinion. Grenade made a thoughtful expression. as he tilted his head to the side and flipped his ears to be attentive to sound. "Hmm..." He began to murmur as if it would help him remember. "There is a place where no monster is allowed inside unless summoned there or invited." Eny clicked his tongue, he knew which place Grenade was talking about and he ain't going to that place... He doesn't trust anyone there, and there is that God there too. Soon Eny remembered a place... A place where he could get money and even food, monster specifically, if he is lucky. Las Vegas, according to his memories he is right now in the sewers of New York.

He wants to go to the Lotus Casino, which is in Las Vegas. If he is not wrong, 1 hour inside the casino equals 1 day out of the casino, they also give you an infinite credit card that you can use anywhere! He wants the credit card so he can use it, but it will draw attention, so he will use it slowly in several different places and buy necessities. He can live by eating monsters, but he doesn't want to. Food is food, and he wants to eat more than monsters! But here's the problem: Distance.

The distance between Las Vegas and New York is 2.523,4 fucking Miles! Or 4,610 kilometers if you use the normal metric system that Americans are still trying to figure out what a kilometer is... And if an average male adult human walks 3 to 4 miles an hour, how many hours would take him to walk all that distance? Approximately 840 hours, 35 days of walking with stops to rest. Now he is a child, or at least his body is of a child, he won't be able to walk like an adult! He will tire faster even though he is a Demigod. What he can do, however, is fly there. However, by flying he would enter Zeus's domain and be under his watch, he could easily send a lightning blot towards him and kill him... So walking it is.

And you would ask 'Why not simply go to the Camp Half-Blood and be done with it?' Because the Gods watch that place, and he doesn't know what the Gods may think of him... They may consider him a threat and may even try to get rid of him, so he decided to first have a backup plan if he can't live among the other Demigods of Camp Half-Blood. And what is his plan? Glad you asked! Using the money from the Lotus cards, he will buy food and even drugs to make connections for himself, after all, power rules the world and there are three types of power:

Individual power, the power that you hold.

Social Power, the power you have in society.

And at last but not least, Communal power! The power a community of more than one person together holds, like a country or a simple group of people.

What Eny seeks is the first type of power, with the first type of power you can achieve the second type easily, and with the second type, you can get the third type even faster. And even though power won't make him immortal. it will help make him harder to kill... He also doesn't need to trust others to get them to work for him, he can make them by simply being stronger than them and ruling over them like a king. But monarchy always falls, the only one that hasn't fallen is the UK one... Yet.
