Weird Happening (Chapter 7)

Ken climbs the stairs to the rooftop and there is a helicopter waiting for them.

Surprisingly, the helicopter can park at the rooftop of the hotel.

Ken boards the helicopter and sees the magnificent view of the top like an airplane. So beautiful are the words that come out of the mouth.

30 minutes later, Ken reaches the school, and the helicopter park at the field because that's the only place to park. Of course, evaluating the people’s surroundings in the field has taken place beforehand.

Zen contacted the school to inform them the helicopter was landing in 30 minutes.

Many people gather to see who is coming out of the helicopter and there they see Ken coming out.

Tom sees from afar the wave and runs towards Ken.

Ken says “Zen that class ends at 3 pm today as there are activities to be done.”

Tom didn't ask Ken about the helicopter as Tom was informed to evaluate everyone in the field. The part where Tom and his team members evaluate, Tom has been questioned by his team members who are coming on the field as to which VIP because this is the first time field is appearing helicopter. Tom says that I don't know because the school was informed a last-minute helicopter was landing.

Now that Tom sees Ken, so that's the VIP. Tom isn't poking into his best friend's affairs, so he didn't ask.

Tom brings Ken to the classroom. Everyone in the class is talking as though they see a sudden VIP status for Ken as he appears in the helicopter. But no one dares to ask Ken because of the stare Tom gives everyone.

Tom, indeed, is best friend to Ken, and Tom protects Ken. (They know each other for 10 years, in case everyone is wondering how long Tom is in friendship with Ken. Tom and Ken were neighbours before and they attended the same school up to now. But only Tom moved house 5 years ago.)

The teacher came in and everyone sat.

Ken is halfway through the class; he thinks about how the helicopter came in and the facts of the beautiful hotel and so on. (Yes, everyone Ken is dreaming now.)

Tom sees Ken not listening to the teacher Tom is getting worried suddenly.

Suddenly the school bell rings.

The teacher says, “Class ends.”

Tom quickly goes to Ken's table and says in “Ken's ear "Bro" today you are not here by spirits, it seems like you are not listening...”

Ken suddenly says, “How do you know?”

Tom says, “Because I can see. You know, I have been seated in the same row as you, even though it's only 1 seat away, I can still see.”

Ken suddenly laughs.

Tom says, “It is not the time to joke. I am getting worried as you are not paying attention in class.”

Ken says, “I will take note of this, don't worry bro.”

Seems like Tom still has an uneasy heart and thoughts, but he just let it go this time.

Suddenly, Ken receives an SMS from Zen that today he isn't available to pick him up from school and asks Tom to speak to him on the phone now. Ken passed the phone to Tom.

Tom answers, "Hello!"

Zen says to him, “Today, he cannot pick Ken up from school as he has something very important that needs him to attend and tell Tom to send Ken home immediately after they have dinner.”

Zen asks Tom's handphone number so that he can SMS him on his number and Tom will reply to him about Ken when he reaches home.

Zen tells “Tom that all payments will be billed to him later.” As Zen knows, if not, Ken will be hungry looking for food. So Tom agreed without asking anything further.

Tom drives Ken for 30 minutes.

Ken goes with Tom to the shopping centre and they shop for 1 hour 30 minutes before they get into a Western food restaurant and sit down. (Ken loves western food; so does Tom, anyway, the bill will go to Zen.)

Tom order lamb chop with Coke and Ken order fish & chips with Ice-Lemon Tea. Tom says, “I will bring you home after this.”

Ken asks, “Is it Zen telling you to send me home?”

Tom nod without saying anything else.

After eating, Ken says, “I forgot I need to buy something important and I have to get it by tonight.”

Tom says, “What is it?”

Ken says, “It's a ruler, I missed placed it somewhere and I can't find it.”

Tom says, “I will bring one for you tomorrow and I will send you back now.”

Ken says, “Please remember to bring it as tomorrow is Science class, we need to use it.”

Tom says, “Okay, I will remember to bring it.”

Ken seems a bit worried as to why Tom seems in such a hurry to send him home instead of just buying a ruler won't take much time.

Ken didn't ask Tom what's the reason he seems so hurried in sending him home but it seems a bit weird in the car; Tom keeps reminding Ken to lock the doors and the windows all in the house.

Seems like something is going to happen?

Ken as he wanted to ask, but he reaches home and Tom sees him walk into the house; he then drives off.

Tom SMS Zen informing him that Ken has reached home safely.

“Zen's reply was noted with thanks.”

Tom replied “the bill is $45; kindly send the money to this account XXXXX.”

Zen didn't ask why it was $45; he just sends the money over and asked Tom to check whether he had received them.

Tom replied, “Yes, I received them.”

Zen asks Tom if next time "I am busy", please do the same as today.

Tom replies, “Okay.”

There the conversation ends.

On the other hand, Ken is in the house; he quickly locks the doors and windows as he is an obedient child.

While locking them, he still has this uneasy feeling that why should I close and lock them as if someone is coming in? It's weird. Ken is not staying alone, he has a younger brother, but his parents are overseas. Ken looks into his younger brother's room and realizes he isn't in the room and now all the doors and windows are closed and locked, how on earth is his younger brother coming in?

Ken quickly grabs his handphone, SMS Tom, and tells him his younger brother isn't home yet and he has locked the doors and the windows, asking him how?

Tom didn't expect this and he is driving; thus unable to concentrate on this matter, he says to Ken that I will return your call later "I am driving now". Call ends.

Ken just thinks how now? Ken quickly called his younger brother but somehow he didn't answer his calls and then he decided to SMS his younger brother. Ken went to bathe.

Now, it’s 9 pm, Ken waited after bathe but his younger brother didn't come back home and no reply from him or call. He is getting worried and the doors and windows are still all locked. Ken also noticed Tom didn't return his call. Now Ken is left all alone in the house. What's happening here now, it's getting really weird and this never happened before.
