The Emperor

Early next morning I moved out towards the castle. The Peshwa had already been informed of our arrival and had instructed me to be present for the morning Sabha that would be taking place early today. Our emperor was a man of strict discipline and he himself led by example. He would always be up before the sun rose, keep himself fit by training and expected the same from most, if not all, of his ministers and soldiers. His daily routine was strict and so the early morning Sabha was something that nobody missed.
