The Church's Assistance

Kalliope watched as the group of priests surrounded the gate where molten lava of Chaos Flame had been leaking from the bottom gap of the door. After a period time had passed with the duke failing to cancel the gate, the surroundings ground had turned into a roaring sea of flame with boiling lava and exceedingly high temperature.

Everyone could feel the searing heat even as they stood a couple of meters away from the gate. Not only that, the surroundings greenery which some had actually avoided Ragna's obliteration began to wilt away in a speed that was visible to naked eyes. The portal gate did not only pour out Chaos Flame but also a ghostly aura of the lost spirits.

The heart-wrenching cries that continued to echo disturbingly from behind the slightly closed gate brought about a deep resentment and all the negative aura that proceeded to slowly gnaw at living organisms.
