Catching the Lion...

The crownlands is one of the nine constituent regions of the Seven Kingdoms. Instead of being ruled by a Lord Paramount, the Crownlands are ruled directly by the monarch on the Iron Throne from the city of King's Landing, the largest city in Westeros and the capital of the Seven Kingdoms.

Geography

The Crownlands are located on the east coast of Westeros, on the shores of the Narrow Sea, north of the Stormlands and south of the Vale of Arryn. The Reach borders it to the southwest, and the Riverlands border it to the northwest. The Crownlands do not directly touch the lands of the Vale, as the Bay of Crabs separates them by sea, and a small strip of the eastern Riverlands separates them by land. Gods Eye lake forms the southern part of the border between the Riverlands and the Crownlands, but the northern part of the border with the Riverlands is arbitrary, not defined by geographical features.

The Crownlands consist of two major regions: the mainland area which is ruled from King's Landing itself, and the islands of Blackwater Bay, which are ruled from Dragonstone island by the heir to the throne.

The mainland itself is further divided into three regions. The main region lies between the Blackwater River in the south, and Crackclaw Point in the north. The Blackwater Rush, as it is known, is the major waterway of the Crownlands, flowing out of Gods Eye lake. King's Landing itself sits on the north side of the Blackwater. This area is a warm coastal plain with fertile fields that feed the capital city. Besides King's Landing itself, the major towns of Rosby and Duskendale are also located here.

Crackclaw Point itself in the north is a forested, hilly region filled with bogs and pine barrens. This backwater region is sparsely populated by local hill-lords who have been feuding with their neighbors and each other since the days of the First Men, but who submitted to the Targaryens. South of the Blackwater River, the Crownlands extend to include a narrow strip of the southern coast of Blackwater Bay, ending in Massey's Hook. This southern strip of land is sparsely populated, and dominated by the northern half of the Kingswood, a large forest which spills across the border into the Stormlands.

As befitting the region containing the capital city, many major roads link the Crownlands with the rest of Westeros. The Kingsroad extends south to Storm's End in the Stormlands, and continues north through King's Landing, passing up through the Riverlands, then to Winterfell in the North and ultimately to the Wall.'

History

The Crownlands were never a sovereign nation, instead being contested between the Riverlands, the Stormlands, and other regions for thousands of years until Aegon the Conqueror seized control of the area during his invasion and made it his primary foothold on the continent, three centuries before the death of King Robert Baratheon. It is therefore the newest of the regions in Westeros, and as a result, does not have much of a distinct "cultural identity", so much as it is shaped by its distinction as the region containing the capital city.

The Riverlands were always more of a borderland frequently changing hands between rival strong kingdoms and were not an independent kingdom at the time of the Targaryen Conquest, and thus are technically not counted as one of the "Seven" Kingdoms. The Crownlands are even younger than the Riverlands (which are loosely the "eighth" kingdom), which at least existed as a loose cultural area for thousands of years even if they weren't always politically independent, thus the Crownlands functionally make up the ninth "kingdom" within the realm anachronistically known as "the Seven Kingdoms". Culturally and historically, the Crownlands were primarily an extension of the Riverlands, but with cultural influences from neighboring regions which periodically captured territory in the region, such as the Stormlands, the Reach, and even the Iron Islands. One of the main reasons Aegon the Conqueror began his invasion in the area which would become the Crownlands is because it was where the borders between these three powerful rival kingdoms met. None of them wanted to deal with the Targaryen threat directly, and each wasted so much time arguing that Aegon was really the problem of the other two respective kingdoms that the Targaryens were able to land all of their forces and establish a firm beachhead unopposed.

For most of its three centuries of existence the Crownlands were ruled directly by House Targaryen and their subordinate vassals. But now House Targaryen will be deposed at the end of Robert's Rebellion, then seventeen years later the War of the Five Kings.

Robert will take the throne, and his new House Baratheon of King's Landing will take up the rule of the Crownlands.

Mc's POV )

Yesterday we entered the crownland after a weeks of riding.

We took the kingsroad and ride to the capital as fast as we could with our nearly 13 thousand Knights from the mixed houses. Our main goal is to intercept the Lannisters before they reached the kingslanding. We know that they are going take the Gold road

To prevent the Lannisters from sacking the city murdering the innocents civilians.

And why am I want to save all those people that are living in the Kingslanding?

The answer is My Knight's code that I took as Warden in Apollyon's army.

1.Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

2. Obay those in authority over you.

3. Stand against injustice and evil.

4. Defend the weak And protect them.

5. Respect the honor of women.

6. Refrain from wanton giving of offense.

7. Speak truth at all time.

8. Be generous and willing to share.

9. Persevere and finish the task at hand.

10. Pursue excellence in all you do.

Those words are imbedded in my soul. I took those oaths when I served the Blackstone Ligeon. Thus saving people is one of my life's priority as a veteran and a high ranking Warden of the Blackstone Ligeon.

I know that swinging my sword is not always a solution for all the problems. Thus I brainstormed this plan to save the innocent lives.

And my plan worked out well, Because we caught up to Lannisters before they reached the capital.

We are currently standing in land of house Bywater.

The Lannisters took the Gold road to reach this far. The capital is not very distance from here. We arrived here first and waited for them for four hours. After that they finally came.

The Lannisters are aware of that too... So we think that the fighting is second option for the Both sides.

As Now both of our army standing face to face. And the tension is high.

As I observed them afar and clearly see from here that the soldiers and knights from the Lannister sides...all have the same color and same types of armor. And the ridiculous helmets. hahaha.. yes the helmet is very funny.

Hmm..?, the Lannisters looked better equipped then us.... far better.

Well... there is a reason for that as well.

House Lannister of Casterly Rock is one of the Great Houses of Seven Kingdoms, and the principal house of the westerlands.

And also our information about the Lannisters was wrong. Because they don't have ten thousand Men, But they brought 12 thousands.

But despite all this.... we hold the advantage. Because the Men's in our side have the fighting experience. And Tywin Lannister have none. Though I think he have some of the veterans of the nine penny war. Still that is not enough to win against us...

Though I think he is a very clever man. He put his champion Gregor Clegane at the front of his army to show off his strength.

To be honest he looks like black metallic Robot from afar. And judging from the armor his wearing ... it's not very flexible.

But he's hight is very impressive. hmm... 6 feet 9 inches maybe.

To be honest I don't feel any threat from him at all... He might be stronger than me but killing him is not a problem with my sword. He's armor won't simply stand against it.

Enough of the beast.... The man of the hour came forward the, one we are waiting for .

Lord Tywin Lannister, the head of House Lannister, Lord of Casterly Rock, Warden of the West, Lord Paramount of the Westerlands, Former Hand of the king...

He came forward with his impressive white horse and Seven of his own men. ( Clegane is also include)

From our side Lord John Arryn, Lord Hoster Tully, Ser Stevron Fray, Lord Jason Mallister, Lord Horton Redfort, Lord Royce, And Lord Swann. And me included ofcourse, I stayed in the middle of lord Hoster and Lord Arryn.

Because of that... it feels like I'm the main character who is in charge of this negotiations or parley.

Both parties came face to face and started to measure ich other. And staring contest begun.

As I also observed the man known as Tywin Lannister. And I'm impressed by his looks. No he's not looks like Charles Dance,,, far from it. Tywin is extremely tall and imposing, with cold and piercing green eyes flecked with gold. His golden hair was shaved when it began to turn grey, except for great golden whiskers on the sides of his face. He is flat-stomached and slender, with broad shoulders. I can tell that... He is seldom seen without the Lannister colours of red or gold, or wearing some kind of ornamentation of his house; But now in battle, he is wearing red armour with gold highlights and a cloth-of-gold cape so heavy that golden lions are fused to the armour to carry it.

The man does not believe in half-measures, does not forget a slight, and does not ever forgive.

He looked at me with his piercing eyes ... it gave a little shiver similar to Olenna Tyrell.. bad memories... But this one is Even worse... his pale green eyes, almost luminous, flecked with gold. It feels like His eyes could see inside you, Just like that devilish Tyrell lady... It could see how weak and worthless and ugly you were down deep.

But luckily my face is covered by my helm ..So all he could read is my appearance of my body not my face.. And not that weak mentally... It's just feels creepy... .

Then the Lion Lord focused finally on Lord Arryn...

Though it's Lord Arryn who spoke first....

"It's been a while since we meet again Lord Lannister. Though I never dreamed it to be like this."

Tywin Lannister also replied," Yes Lord Arryn... So am I .... All this is happening because of Total madness. But I would rather get to the point."

Lord Arryn answered, " Yes.. that will be best for both of us. But I propose we seat down a speak in a comfortable way!!"

The Lannister Lord agreed ... Only three chair have been brought, for Lord Tully and Lord Arryn and one for Lord Lannister. And the rest of us stood gaurd behind them and negotiations started....
