CH110: GOING HOME 3

After separating from Temitope, Abdul-Lateef took a bus to Ibadan, Oyo state. It took a few hours before the bus finally arrived.

At the bus terminal, he called a taxi.

However, he didn't head home. Rather, he went to his mother's shop.

His mother ran a small-scale beauty salon close to Ibadan city centre. She had a reasonable number of customers every day, thus allowing her to have a steady daily income.

Though the family received pensions from the Army monthly, Mrs Abdul-Salam saved the money and didn't touch it.
