Own me like I'm yours, Mr. Alpha

I'd always thought every rich man only wanted a woman's body. They loathed commitment so much as it was too risky for themselves.

Lisandro carried me into a soft, cozy bed as soon as we entered the terrific treehouse. There were white curtains all over the bed—just like in the movies.

It looked romantic, sexy, and sweet. His perfect face turned to me as he slowly put me down with a genuine smile on his jaw-dropping, red lips.

My heart thumped too fast. It was hard to control it as it seemed real and embraced with a magical spell.

"Lisandro!"

"Just let me take this off," he said without looking my way. He then gently took off my shoes and the sweet smile on his lips turned into a cool smirk. "Move a little bit," he added that caught off my guard.

I didn't understand why he insisted to come here—to the enchanted forest than on going to the soothing white beach, away from the city.

I'd felt that he kept something from me—from the public that would exactly ruin his reputation. But I shouldn't cross the borderline if I wanted to live a peaceful life with Andrea.

After all, the operation was successful, and it was all because of his connections and money.

Suddenly, I'd felt his warm hands crawl into my flat abdomen. He laid down beside me as we both looked up at the ceiling.

I didn't want to ruin the mood, but I used to be a talkative person before. "Can I ask you one question?" I asked and bit my lower lip as my heart skipped a bit—as always.

"Yes," he answered shortly.

Before I opened my mouth, I took a deep breath for a second. I'd never believed that I would be right here—laying down next to a famous CEO.

"Are you a were–" I paused.

"Are you happy with your life?" I'd changed the question that almost caught his guard down.

With my two brown eyes, I'd noticed how his expression changed. Lisandro resembled a popular creature millions of years ago. His spectacular fair white skin, his tantalizing golden-brown eyes, and sometimes, his touch became too cold like a frozen river.

But many people said his father was a werewolf and there was no doubt that Lisandro possessed his father's genes. However, why does he look like a vampire too? And why I didn't hear about his mother's identity?

A deafening silence devoured around the entire place like there was no one inside. Lisandro gasped, leaned back to the wooden wall as he looked at somewhere far and distant.

He turned around on me, caressed his chin that somehow disturbed me. I'd never wanted to go beyond my boundaries, but there was a strong feeling that always pushed me to do something vicious.

I slowly reached for his arms and caressed them softly. It would relax his mind as I'd always done to grandma before.

"I don't know! My life was nothing like a dark cave before," he replied finally. But Lisandro looked unhappy and unsatisfied with his life. I'd wanted to listen to him, whether it was a good or bad notion. "There's a 'big secret' in my whole life that I must keep until the end of the world! I don't know how to say it, but I'm 1143 years old today."

My whole world fell apart the moment I'd heard those things from him. An 1143 years old man? It's impossible to happen! An ordinary human could have just lived for 90 years and not for thousands of years.

But at some point, both werewolves and vampires could live thousands of years without so much physical change.

My head suddenly hurt like I was hit by a huge rock. My entire system had stopped that left with speechless and dumbfounded.

In disbelief, I shook my head countless times. I'd tried to speak, asked him another question about his identity—yet, no words came out.

"I've shouldn't tell you about my age. I knew you would react that way." Lisandro told me with regret in his eyes.

I knew he was serious about a certain thing like his age, but there was a part of me saying that an ordinary human being couldn't live for thousand years without physical change. His hair should've turned gray or plain white, his forehead must have been covered with lines and wrinkles all over his face.

But goodness, he looked like a young, fine wine who stared at me coldly. How I am supposed to believe in his words if we only met because of money and sex?

I sighed, turned to him, and slowly reached for his cold hands as it changed too quickly, "Happiest Birthday, Lisandro. For me, you looked like a 24-year-old man and that's more important than your past."

I greeted him sweetly. I just let myself dictate what should I state to a problematic man who lay down next to me. His fascinating adam's apple moved up and down as he took a heavy, deep breath.

A long silence embraced us again. The birds chirped that almost hypnotized me as I closed my eyes and listened to nature's sweet voice.

"Andy," he murmured. Until I'd felt his hands softly crawl onto my skin. "I'm sorry for not bringing you to the beach. I hope you're not angry with me," he added that abruptly aroused a meaningful feeling in my chest.

"I'm not," I replied and shook my head in disagreement. "This is one of the stunning places I've ever seen. And that's all because of you, Lisandro."

My heart beat too fast and it wasn't new to me. I'd felt it when I was in high school the moment I first saw the popular, handsome man in our class.

I'd always wished to be touched, to be heard, and to be seen by someone who would accept everything about me. Someone who would hold my hands tightly like he was afraid to lose a glimpse of a woman he truly loved.

Am I naive? Am I becoming a martyred woman who once told herself not to fall in love with a rich man? Would I ever find the way out from here or I would just stay with him while my heart suffered in silence?

Lisandro stooped as he stared at my lips. His hands rested on my waist that awakened my soul—my desirous other self.

I'd waited for his move, but to my surprise, Lisandro kissed the back of my hand. I wanted more than a kiss, a cold touch, and a deep gaze. I'd always wanted him—inside of my soul and body as he owned me like I was his one and only woman.

Without hesitation, I grabbed his head, touched his chest as I kissed him passionately.

"Own me like I'm yours, Mr. Alpha," I whispered to his ears that induced him to be bewildered and aggressive. Enough to bring me up above the clouds.
