Lilith - Abyssal Night

It was cold. Standing here outside Arsene's Abyssal Night, I felt ice cold. This domain I was desperately holding back was eating at me and the world Izavith had created. The Laws were losing their light, fading into the ether of darkness.

At first, I thought that Arsene's Power might just be covering the elements, as this was the Abyss. The concept of Elements in the Abyss versus the fourth heaven was not even a comparison. In my realm, one didn't need to struggle to learn concepts; they were there for the taking, bare to the world; one simply needed to claim it. While this privilege was meant for the Abyssal Fiends, if one of the Denizens of the Fourth Heaven were to take the time to start over, and make a brand new Dao seed, then a whole new world would awaken.

But Arsene's Abyssal Night was destroying not just the Dao but the concepts. An impossibility. Wait! No, that should be impossible; even someone like Zariel should not be able to destroy fully formed Concepts of the Abyss.

So what is happening to my Elements? Why am I losing control of them?

Do they still even exist?

Touching my stomach, I thought of the little bun who, throughout this ordeal, has actually been helping me. No idea how, despite my almost infinite knowledge of these abysses, and all they share, this Little One was eating away at its papa domain.

God! I can't wait for you to be born!

I shook my head, cracking a smile. "I wonder how this will end? With the two guardians of the Zpheris joining hands, things should be looking up, at least on my side. Arsene will undoubtedly face some trouble if he can't lower his damn pride and think before speaking.

If he can, Damien and Apophis, probably the only two males that hold power in this world, would be on his side, then battling Zantar and this mysterious other Fallen will be far more manageable. But I didn't know about the second Fallen. It seems Izavith is hiding something from me or at least protecting me.

But this is more a reason to kill the Arbitors that came into the Abyss. Once they are dead, and we are in Iluthath or—

"MAMA!!!" Arkanos cried, charging at me, carrying a small ruby red crystal in her hands, while Ezra and Ren trailed behind with exhausted looks.

Smiling with utter delight, I squatted down and patted the little one, " Good job. All the kisses go—"

"Arkanos has all the kisses already. She wants something else."

My eyes widened, and I blinked, unsure what to even say as she stared at my stomach. "Arkanos wants to spend time with the baby for two hours. Without Mama and Papa around."

"Why is that?" I hesitantly asked, a little tempted to read her mind. It was well in my ability to do so.

Arkanos flashed me a mischievous smile, " We would never harm the baby!"

"We?" I swiftly remarked, " What are you and Little Ty up to?"

Arkanos's smile deepened, and she giggled, " Nothing~."

Humming in response to the little lass, I took hold of the Bloodstone. Sensing an abysmal amount of Heavenly Qi within the crystalline veins in the stone.

I eyed its aesthetic features and sucked in a deep breath.

"Look after little Ty for me," I softly said, glancing down at the little doll leaning on the wall, pale as any ghost.

"K" She exclaimed, leaning down near her sister, taking her into her arms.

My heart warmed but slowly turned grim as I shifted my attention toward this pooling darkness. Taking a step into the void of nothingness, I felt like I had stepped through a portal that made my heart sink in anxiety. My clothing had begun to peel away, and a dreadful pressure akin to a wild feral beast began to gnaw on my flesh.

"Is this the True Face of Abyssal Night?" I muttered, amazed that not even my words seemed to echo. As if I was standing in the vacuum of space, a vast emptiness rippled through my core.

Scrunching my brow, a dense amount of Origin Qi from the core of my being, the core of my abyssal qi, cloaked my flesh, defending against this abyssal night. Wrapping me in its ethereal light, I pressed ahead to Arsene; I made sure to summon the Blade of the Abyss to my waist.

Seconds slipped away, followed by hours of walking in this domain of night, before I came upon a young man with long ashen hair, flowing freely in the very darkness as though he were in the water.

"You big dummy!" I blamed, knowing my words would not reach him.

Approaching Sene, my brow scrunched, and a sinister chill danced along my spine as I glanced at his left hand.

Rich black runes I'd never seen before protruded from his skin, forming in an intricate design, slowly stretched from up his arm, stopping midway at the elbow. Reaching to touch the runes, I froze as everything in me screamed at me not to.

Sucking in a deep cold breath that chilled my core more than this domain, I hesitated for but a moment and unsheathed the Abyssal Blade, arching it high with one arm.

"I hope I don't explode doing this!"

Focusing my mind, I tossed the Bloodstone into the air and severed it in two. Moving fast before any energy could bleed, I swatted the severed have towards Arsene's strange arm with the flat side of my blade.

Touching upon Arsene, the sounds of dropping water reached into my ear as the small crystal vanished to my amazement. Taken back by the sudden disappearance of a crystal that could littery blow up all of civilization in the Bed of Chaos and still have enough energy to take on a Paragon, I stood absolutely shellshocked.

"Izavith, I need help!" I said, giving up on doing this alone. However, as those words left me, Arsene's eyes trembled. And his milky white, pale skin slowly began to turn a bright red.

I took two large steps back, and Arsene's scarlet eyes opened to meet mine. My inside trembled as the strange tattoo upon his arm began to glow, slowly reaching up from his elbow to his shoulder.

Hiding the other half of the crystal in my soul, I noted the receding of this Domain of Abyssal night, but I dared not take my eyes off Arsene as he smiled.

"Sene?"
