Bad Omen

Chester couldn't put his finger on what it was, but something was bothering him. 

"I know that no one did anything about it before, I'm trying to change that right now which is why I need you to work with me on this. Without your help, I don't know where to start." The detective tried again. 

The woman looked like she was almost in tears. It was her son that had disappeared after all. Anyone would be distraught over that kind of thing happening. The police in the area obviously hadn't done their job otherwise they would have been able to find the right clues like he had been doing. 

"Please at least give me a chance. I know those who worked on this before me failed to find anything out, but I want to change that. I believe that I have already found some new leads on the case. I just need you to confirm a few things for me so that I know what direction to go forward in."
