High Risk Prisoner and Cure

__________ POV Narration__________

"What's wrong mate?~ Ya don't look all that pleased to see me~" Beru spoke with a wave of his hand as he stood in front of a chair.

In that chair, connected to quite a few machines was a human-shaped black mist wearing prison garb and looking rather pissed off.

"Of course I am not... It's because of you that master lost his life..." Kurogiri's hate was really easy to sense, especially for the 'hypersensitive' Beru.

"I see...~ So you've still not recovered any memories since before you were a Nomu~" Beru was already aware of Kurogiri's actual identity.

The misty Nomu had once been a hero prospect. An ambitious young man striving to become a hero right alongside Aizawa and Mic.

"I don't know what you're talkin-" Kurogiri stopped himself as his body trembled in a strange way.

"Welp~ It won't be long before you've recovered~ He didn't make you brainless, so your memories will recover as his influence on you slips away~ At least that's my theory~" Beru tilted his head as he looked at the trembling man.

"H-Hel..." A half of a human face could be seen within the mist for a split second, but it was quickly snuffed out. "I don't know what you're talking about... I am a servant of Shigaraki Tomura, the successor of All for One." His words were extremely robotic.

'This is exactly the way Aizawa told me it would happen... This is odd.' Beru was here to help the man in front of him, plain and simple.

He wanted to see if doing so was even possible. Aizawa and Mic obviously were the ones to ask for his help.

And, Beru was currently caught in a bit of a pinch...

'If his memories aren't there... How come that just happened?' Kurogiri showed clear signs of the personality he suppressed within him.

And, it seemed to come to the surface from time to time. It gave Beru an odd feeling.

'It's as if two completely different people are fighting for control over the same body...' He circled around the misty prisoner as he heaved a sigh.

"You don't seem quite sure of that...~ All for One made you quite well, but he's never quite been able to make something truly perfect~ As I said, you won't be able to hold onto that stupid hope that he'll come back forever.~" Beru stopped in front of Kurogiri once again.

The misty villain squinted at him, his gaze seemed almost hateful.

"Don't give me that look~ I killed that fool with my own two hands~ Same for Kyudai and Machia~ Shigaraki is not in the mental state to continue any legacy, let alone that of All for One~ Not that he'd ever be able to get his hands on the original quirk anyway~"

Beru laid the situation out quite clearly for the misty villain. It didn't matter how robotic All for One had made his servant. He had granted him quite a bit of free will.

His loyalty was shaken up greatly by Beru's words. They weren't anything new, he had heard them before from numerous people... But Beru wasn't just anyone, he was a person he knew. And someone that he had been conditioned to trust.

Beru's words sent the misty villain into silence. Beru didn't bother wasting any more words either. But he did leave a few words as he left the room. "I do hope you'll remember yourself sooner than later~ But time has always been a great doctor~"

His visit hadn't been horribly long, he was only there to check on Kurogiri more than anything. Crushing any hope that the Nomu had of its master coming back was necessary.

Even Kurogiri didn't want to listen to the people that he had spoken to before on the subject, he had no choice but to accept reality when Beru himself spoke.

Still, Kurogiri was very much in denial, he had shut himself off after hearing what Beru said.

Whether or not this did anything to help... Only time would tell.

Currently, there were also plenty of other issues to be addressed.

In a large and rather royal looking office, two people were sat down and seemed to be staring at each other for a bit.

One was a blonde young man with deep royal blue eyes, and the other was a plain-looking Japanese middle-aged man, black hair and eyes, the only distinctive feature of his was the clean looking white lab coat he was wearing.

These two were Don, posing as Vladislav, and Goda Yori, being himself(duh).

"So you're saying that making it global would be easier if we used your 'less than legal' strategies?" Yori asked the disguised Don.

"Of course, I can easily blackmail most governments in lending a hand... If that doesn't work I can always just force them to do so~ Even if I have to rip it off of them, you will get your helping hand from all governments around the world." Don seemed to make a fine point.

Yori tilted his head a bit, thinking about the offer for a bit. Doing as Don said would make things flow much smoother, but even then, implementing the serum into daily life would take a lot of time.

Years and years would need to pass for distribution and everything to be handled, not to say that some testing was still in order.

"That might work... But we won't be able to get every corner of the world, even with your help." Yori scratched his chin as he seemed to think about a few things.

"The majority of countries in Africa, some parts of Southern America as well as a lot of Island countries. We have no influence in those areas..." Don said as he sighed a bit.

"We can't just release the cure in our areas... People would notice quirks growing weaker here, while they are stronger in other places... That might also start conflicts and other needless trouble." Yori sighed in exasperation.

Of course, it wasn't going to be so easy, nothing ever is.

"... I can try and expand my business there. But that will take a lot of time, convincing local governments through conditional means might be faster at this rate."

Don was currently in no state to start expanding his empire, and he wouldn't be for quite a while. He was still stabilizing the power he had gained, putting everyone back to work properly and getting rid of a few 'riskier' trades.

"By my estimations, humanity has around 4 generations left... At least that was what I would've said a few months back. But now I know that 4 generations is a lot..." Yori scratched the back of his head.

"There are already signs of a great rise in power, just in the next generation alone. You probably already know about Rewind, right?" Don just nodded as the scientist continued to talk.

"She may be an exception, but her quirk is fundamentally strong enough to alter time itself... If her quirk was of an even more destructive nature, then the world would actually be in danger.

She would also be in trouble if her quirk wasn't a stockpiling one... I'm sure that she'd be in danger if she let her energy gather up too much..." Yori heaved a sigh as he squinted his eyes in frustration.

"I'm afraid that the supposed Quirk Singularity is right around the corner, rather than a few decades away."

No words were exchanged for a while after that... They needed to prevent the end of the world, Don still had to work on his mission to end corruption and dictatorships all over the world, but that needed to take a backseat now that this reality was made more obvious.

It wasn't as if Beru didn't think about that before, he knew that a 'Quirk singularitý' was much closer than Yori had initially presumed, but he hadn't given it much thought, as he knew that they already had a cure.

"At this point... I think it's better that we just start releasing the cure everywhere we can." Don spoke up this time, his intent was to save everyone they could.

They needed to act fast too, they only had so many years left.
