The next day, after waking up early and quickly eating what was left of the food they had stolen they started to walk toward town. Livana couldn't wait for them to reach it. She wondered what would happen. Would they cross the ocean to reach the other continent today or the next day? Who was this man Kaeleb knew and who would help them cross town unnoticed?

She probably would have the answers to all her questions soon because they had been walking for hours already. Livana hoped she could finally rest a little. She could barely feel her feet after all these days walking in the forest. She looked ahead of her at Kaeleb's back. He wasn't tired at all. She wondered what it felt like to be so strong and so fast. Maybe she would know some day. She shook her head at the thought. She couldn't believe a part of her was considering the idea of turning into a wolf-shifter. Well, she already was one, it was just buried deep inside of her.
