Kaori was taken aback. That was probably the last thing she had ever expected to hear. For a while, all she could do was stare back at the goddess with disbelief in her eyes, while Lumina looked as calm as ever.
"What?" She asked.
"As I said, I need you to kill me. More specifically," Lumina giggled, "I need you to facilitate the end of my existence."
"B-But... Why?" Kaori asked, her brows furrowed as she stared back at her deity.
"I suppose I should give you an explanation," Lumina chuckled. "The entire reason this war began was that Niven was deprived of death by Magia and myself. As a result of that transgression, over a thousand years of chaos has taken place."
Lumina looked down at the table between them as if there was something there that Kaori couldn't see.
