Epilogue 2

Shahzad and Zamarad watched their children playing in the gardens. They were growing too fast to Zamarad's chagrin. If she could slow time down, she would do it without a thought.

Unfortunately, time was the one thing she couldn't control. She sighed at her thoughts. Once again, her mood is being affected by what she knew would come to pass.

Shahzad noticed how the air around her was slowly turning colder by the minute. He pulled her into his arms.

" what is making my beloved so uneasy this early in the day?"

Zamarad didn't look at him as she usually does. Instead, her eyes remained glued to the children.

" I fear for them. The trials that await them, would be easy. The frustrating bit is that we can't interfere. They have to overcome it on their own. I don't think I can do it, my love. I don't think I can just watch."
